The Mechanical Engineering Association is a non-profit organization that serves as the core of activities for Mechanical Engineering students at The American University in Cairo (AUC). MEA aims to empower, unify and lead mechanical engineering students towards fulfilling their maximum potential and pushing them to achieve excellence during their time at AUC. The study of mechanical engineering gives students the opportunity to develop the ability to better adapt to almost any situation they encounter, while triggering innovation and creativity in dealing with these issues. However this process of learning is hindered without a well-established foundation. Our philosophy is to empower students to engage them further in learning; unifying the mechanical engineering community at AUC to become integrated and effective; leading the members of this community towards making the most of their time and the resources they have
during their course of study at AUC.
