📢 Postgraduate Research Presentations

As part of the ongoing international co-supervision program for Master’s degree theses at the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, Badr University in Cairo, our postgraduate students successfully presented a new thesis research discussion session under the supervision of the external mentor Dr. Jean Chia Chih Peng, School of Dentistry, University of Washington, USA.

The presented research focused on the accuracy of 3D-printed restorations and the influence of different printing and post-curing protocols on marginal adaptation, reflecting the growing integration of digital dentistry and advanced prosthodontic research within our postgraduate programs.

The session demonstrated a distinguished level of scientific discussion, critical thinking, and research methodology, highlighting the continuous development of postgraduate education and international academic collaboration at BUC.

📢 Postgraduate Research Presentations

As part of the ongoing international research collaboration and co-supervision program for Master’s degree theses at the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, Badr University in Cairo, our postgraduate students successfully completed the third round of research proposal presentation sessions.

Today’s session included the discussion of five postgraduate research proposals in the presence of the external supervisor iDr. Peng Li , Department of Periodontology, Peking University School and Hospital of Stomatology, China, reflecting the continuous expansion of BUC’s international academic and research partnerships.

The session demonstrated a remarkable level of scientific discussion, critical thinking, and academic excellence, emphasizing the Faculty’s commitment to advancing postgraduate education, scientific research, and international collaboration.

We are proud of our postgraduate students and sincerely appreciate the dedication and continuous efforts of all supervisors and faculty members involved in supporting the research process. The Faculty of Dentistry proudly announces the official commencement of Master’s thesis registration for the first cohort of our postgraduate program.

This milestone represents an important step toward strengthening our research capacity and advancing postgraduate education within the Faculty.

We are particularly honored that several of these research projects are being conducted under joint international supervision, in collaboration with distinguished professors from the University of Washington (Seattle, USA) and Peking University (Beijing, China).
