أنشئ معهد الجيزة العالى للهندسة والتكنولوجيا بموجب القرار الوزارى رقم 2521 بتاريخ 13/9/2007 وبدأت الدراسة بالمعهد اعتبارا من العام الدراسى2007/2008
صدر القرار الوزارى رقم 3899 بتاريخ 28/12/2009 لتكون الشعب الهندسية بالمعهد
1- الهندسة المدنية
2- الهندسة المعمارية
3- هندسة الاتصالات والالكترونيات
تم معادلة درجة البكالوريوس التى يمنحها المعهد بالشعب المذكورة من المجلس الاعلى للجامعات.
يقيد الطالب فور التخرج بنقابة المهندسين.
المعهد معتمد من الهيئة القومية لضمان جودة التعليم والاعتماد
Giza Higher Institute of Engineering and Technology was established by Ministerial Decree No. 2521 dated September 13, 2007, and studies at the institute commenced in the 2007/2008 academic year. Ministerial Decree No. 3899, dated December 28, 2009, established the following engineering departments at the institute:
1- Civil Engineering
2- Architectural Engineering
3- Communications and Electronics Engineering
The Bachelor's degree awarded by the institute in the aforementioned departments is accredited by the Supreme Council of Universities. Students are registered with the Engineers Syndicate immediately upon graduation. The institute is accredited by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education(NAQAA).
