🌟 Learning Beyond the Classroom | ASHRAE BUE SB Field Visit to Dar Al-Handasah "Dar"
Following the success of our first field visit to Dar Al-Handasah, we were pleased to organise a second visit, giving another group of our members the opportunity to step beyond the classroom and experience real-world engineering applications firsthand.
During the visit, our members explored a wide range of systems, including Air Handling Units (AHUs), generators, transformers, backup battery systems, solar panels, boilers, heat exchangers, thermal wheels, and the Building Management System (BMS). This provided valuable insight into HVAC, electrical power, renewable energy, thermal systems, and building automation, while connecting our academic knowledge to their practical applications.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Eng.Ahmed Hafez for his time, guidance, and for helping us gain a deeper understanding of the different systems and their operation.
A special thank you to Eng. Mostafa Seyam and Eng. Ahmed El-Dakhakhny for their continued support, coordination, and valuable guidance throughout the visit, helping make this experience both informative and memorable.
