We will talk today about udl.....🧑‍🏫
Udl or Universal Design for learning is a set of principles that provide teachers with a structure to develop instructions to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
Curriculum, as defined in the UDL literature, has four parts: instructional goals, methods, materials, and assessments.
UDL is intended to increase access to learning by reducing physical, cognitive, intellectual, and organizational barriers to learning, as well as other obstacles. UDL principles also lend themselves to implementing inclusionary practices in the classroom

"STEAM" Objectives is a combination between smart objectives and steam objectives:

The first part is SMART objectives :
*S---specific to a student-based outcome (Skill, ability and action)
*M---measurable by providing evidence
*A---attainable by all students within a reasonable time frame
*R---result-oriented, yielding student-based learning
*T--time bound and regularly measured

The second part is "STEAM" objectives:
By the end of the lesson, SWBAT:
1) use (STEM concept, strategy, tool)➡️What?
2) to (function/active verbs)➡️ To do what? (task)
3) in or during (a meaningful real-life situation in which the learner always has a reason for building/working on) ➡️In which situation? (activity)

What is the difference between steam education and traditional education:
------------------------------------------------
"Traditional education" depend on read, memorize and the amount of information that student take ,so students memorize for test performance only, not for knowledge. In other hand "STEAM education" depend on many strategies that show to students:-
"why they learn"
"how they learn"
"what they learn"
so the student want to learn because they are realized the importance of this learning in addition to it is based on projects that students perform and solve the problems.

تعرف فلسفة STEAM بدمجها لخمس مجالات دراسية مختلفة: العلوم “Science” والتكنولوجيا “Technology” والتفكير الهندسي “ Engineering” والفنون والدراسات الانسانية “Arts” والرياضيات “Mathematics” حيث الفكرة الأساسية من فلسفة STEAM هي تقديم تعلم ذو معنى من خلال ربط التدريس بالحياة اليومية وتنمية المهارات اللازمة لسوق العمل
وتقدم استراتيجيات STEAM تطوير في العملية التدريسية، مع التركيز على ثقافة المدرسة وطرق تعاون المعلمين مع بعضهم البعض والأساليب المختلفة لتدريس الطلاب، مع الاهتمام بشكل واضح بجودة التعليم علي عكس التعيلم التقليدي الذي يهمل جميع هذه الجوانب
وتهدف أيضا الي إعداد معلم أكثر خبرة يعزز التكامل بين الموضوعات العلمية المختلفة لتطوير خبراته لتناسب مهارات معلم القرن 21وتحقيق الدور الجديد في التعلم الفعال
وتعمل علي اعداد طلاب يمتلكون مهارات من التفكير الناقد والابداعي وحل المشكلات واستخدام المعرفة والابتكار . ❤️
