جامعة طنطا 2025.. طفرة بحثية عالمية وبصمة ابتكارية تُرسخ محاور الاستراتيجية الوطنية للتعليم العالي
استعرض الدكتور محمد حسين رئيس جامعة طنطا حصاد إنجازات قطاع الدراسات العليا والبحوث لعام 2025، والذي كشف عن تقدم ملحوظ في مراكز الجامعة ضمن التصنيفات العالمية المرموقة، وزيادة نوعية في الإنتاج البحثي والمخرجات العلمية، مما يعزز مكانة الجامعة كمركز إقليمي ودولي للتميز الأكاديمي والبحثي.
أوضح الدكتور محمد حسين أن التقرير أظهر احتلال الجامعة مراكز متقدمة في تصنيفات QS وTimes Higher Education وShanghai، حيث برزت الجامعة في المركز السابع محلياً فى تصنيف QS العالمي، وفى تصنيف التايمز ((THE جاءت الجامعة في المركز الثالث محلياً والـ 1001-1200 عالمياً، وفى التصنيف العربي حصدت الجامعة المركز الـ 13 محلياً والـ 89 عربياً، وفى تصنيف شنغهاي، تواجدت الجامعة في 9 تخصصات علمية لعام 2025، وسجلت الجامعة أرقاماً تعكس تطور منظومة البحث العلمي، حيث بلغ عدد الأبحاث المنشورة في Scopus لعام 2025 نحو 2813 بحثاً، بينما وصل عدد الأبحاث في Web of Science إلى 2084 بحثاً، كما حققت الجامعة نسبة 100% في الاستفادة من خدمات بنك المعرفة المصري والتوافق مع الاستراتيجية الوطنية للتعليم العالي.
أكد الدكتور محمد حسين أن هذه النتائج هي ثمرة استراتيجية الجامعة الهادفة إلى دعم الابتكار وتهيئة بيئة محفزة للباحثين، مؤكداً أن ما حققته جامعة طنطا من قفزات في التصنيفات الدولية يعكس الالتزام الكامل برؤية مصر 2030، معرباً عن فخره بوجود 47 عالماً من أبناء الجامعة ضمن قائمة ستانفورد لأفضل 2% من علماء العالم، وهو ما يؤكد أن الجامعة تمتلك ثروة بشرية قادرة على المنافسة دولياً.
من جانبه، أوضح الأستاذ الدكتور حاتم أمين أن القطاع شهد تطوراً ملموساً في جودة المخرجات البحثية، مضيفاً ان العام الماضي شهد تعزيز التعاون الدولي، حيث بلغت نسبة الأبحاث المشتركة دولياً 62.5%، وهو مؤشر قوي على انفتاح الجامعة على المؤسسات العلمية العالمية، مضيفاً أن الجامعة نجحت في زيادة عدد برامج الدراسات العليا لتتجاوز 700 برنامج، واستقطاب أكثر من 600 طالب وافد في مرحلتي الماجستير والدكتوراة من 18 جنسية مختلفة، مما يرسخ دور الجامعة كمنارة للعلم في منطقة الشرق الأوسط.
أضاف الدكتور حاتم أمين أن النشر العلمي الدولي خلال العام الماضي تصدر المشهد الأكاديمي، إذ بلغت نسبة الأبحاث المنشورة في مجلات الربع الأول (Q1) نحو 57.1%، مما يؤكد جودة الإنتاج البحثي وتوافقه مع المعايير العالمية، وإصدار الجامعة لأكثر من18 مجلة علمية متخصصة، وعلى صعيد التحول الرقمي، نجحت الجامعة في إرساء بنية تحتية رقمية متطورة شملت إطلاق 35 منصة للخدمات الإلكترونية، وتدريب 9000 متدرب على تقنيات الرقمنة، مما ساهم في تيسير الإجراءات لأكثر من 13,000 طالب مقيد بمرحلة الدراسات العليا. ولم يقتصر التميز على الجانب الأكاديمي فحسب، بل امتد لتعزيز الشراكة مع المجتمع من خلال تنظيم أكثر من 90 فعالية استهدفت تحفيز الابتكار ونقل التكنولوجيا، لترسخ الجامعة بذلك مكانتها كمركز إقليمي رائد للإبداع والبحث العلمي.

Tanta University 2025: A Global Research Leap and an Innovative Footprint Reinforcing the Pillars of the National Strategy for Higher Education
Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President University, reviewed the achievements of the Graduate Studies and Research Sector for 2025, highlighting significant progress in the University’s standing within prestigious international rankings, along with a qualitative increase in research output and scientific outcomes. These achievements further strengthen Tanta University’s position as a regional and international hub for academic and research excellence.
Prof. Mohamed Hussein explained that the report showed the University attaining advanced positions in the QS, Times Higher Education, and Shanghai rankings. Tanta University ranked seventh nationally in the QS World University Rankings, while in the Times Higher Education (THE) ranking it placed third locally and within the 1001–1200 band globally. In the Arab University Rankings, the University achieved 13th place nationally and 89th regionally. In the Shanghai Ranking, Tanta University was listed in nine scientific disciplines for 2025.
The report also reflected clear development in the research ecosystem, with 2,813 research papers indexed in Scopus during 2025 and 2,084 papers in Web of Science, in addition to achieving a 100% utilization rate of the Egyptian Knowledge Bank services, in line with the National Strategy for Higher Education.
Prof. Mohamed Hussein emphasized that these results are the outcome of a comprehensive university strategy aimed at supporting innovation and fostering a stimulating environment for researchers. He affirmed that Tanta University’s remarkable progress in international rankings reflects its full commitment to Egypt Vision 2030, expressing pride in the inclusion of 47 scholars from the University among Stanford University’s list of the world’s top 2% scientists, which underscores the University’s strong human capital capable of competing globally.
For his part, Prof. Hatem Amin noted that the sector has witnessed tangible improvement in the quality of research outputs. He added that the past year saw strengthened international collaboration, with internationally co-authored research reaching 62.5%, a strong indicator of the University’s openness to global academic institutions. He further stated that the University has expanded its postgraduate programs to more than 700 programs, and attracted over 600 international postgraduate students at the master’s and doctoral levels from 18 different nationalities, reinforcing Tanta University’s role as a beacon of knowledge in the Middle East.
Prof. Hatem Amin also highlighted that international scientific publishing took center stage during the past year, with 57.1% of published research appearing in Q1 journals, confirming the high quality of research output and its alignment with global standards. He pointed out that the University publishes more than 18 specialized scientific journals.
In terms of digital transformation, the University successfully established an advanced digital infrastructure, including the launch of 35 electronic service platforms and the training of 9,000 trainees in digital technologies, facilitating procedures for more than 13,000 enrolled postgraduate students. Excellence was not limited to the academic sphere alone, but extended to community engagement through organizing over 90 events aimed at stimulating innovation and technology transfer, thereby consolidating the University’s position as a leading regional center for creativity and scientific research.
