📢 ¡El patrimonio cultural europeo cobra vida a través de la tecnología! 🌍💡

👵📲 Adultos mayores de España, Suecia, Países Bajos y Polonia han fortalecido sus competencias digitales en Patrimonio Cultural gracias al proyecto SEED4OS. Una iniciativa liderada por la UCAV y sus socios internacionales , , y para promover la inclusión digital y el voluntariado.

Hoy hemos compartido los resultados con el Ayuntamiento de Salamanca y la Diputación de Salamanca, destacando:
✅ Programa de formación en competencias digitales
✅ Creación y lanzamiento de la plataforma del voluntariado
✅ Divulgación del Patrimonio Cultural europeo

Gracias al apoyo de la concejala de mayores del de Salamanca, Isabel Macías, y a la directora adjunta del área de bienestar de la , Ruth Hernández.

Gracias al programa de la 🇪🇺 , seguimos sembrando el futuro digital de nuestro patrimonio.

📢 European cultural heritage comes to life through technology! 🌍💡

👵📲 Older adults from Spain, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Poland have strengthened their digital skills in Cultural Heritage thanks to the SEED4OS project. Led by UCAV and its international partners , , , and , this initiative promotes digital inclusion and volunteering.

Today, we shared our results with the City Council of Salamanca and the Provincial Government of Salamanca, highlighting:
✅ Digital skills training program
✅ Creation and launch of the volunteer platform
✅ Promotion of European Cultural Heritage

Thanks to the support of the councillor for the elderly of , Isabel Macías, and the deputy director of the welfare area of the , Ruth Hernández.

With the support of institutions and the program of the 🇪🇺 , we continue planting the seeds of a digital future for our heritage. Stay tuned for more updates!

Muchos museos y sitios patrimoniales cuentan con voluntarios para ayudar en diversas tareas. Puede ayudar en los servicios a los visitantes, las visitas guiadas, la conservación de objetos, la , los programas educativos o los actos especiales. A cambio, mejorará sus conocimientos y ampliará sus horizontes en el ámbito cultural, además de relacionarse con gente nueva. Ofrezca su tiempo y sus conocimientos para ayudar a organizar y digitalizar documentos, fotografías o artefactos. Esto puede contribuir a la conservación y accesibilidad de los materiales del patrimonio cultural y mejorar tus conocimientos técnicos digitales.

🇬🇧 Volunteering in the field of cultural heritage

Many museums and heritage sites rely on volunteers to assist with various tasks. You can help with visitor services, guided tours, artefact preservation, research, educational programs, or special events. In return, you improve your knowledge and broaden your horizons in the cultural sphere and get to communicate with new people. Offer your time and skills to help with organising and digitising documents, photographs or artefacts. This can contribute to the preservation and accessibility of cultural heritage materials and improve your digital technical skills.

🇪🇸 ¿Alguna vez te has parado a pensar en cómo el increíble aumento del número de adultos mayores podría cambiar el tejido social? 🤔

Es una idea intrigante, ¿verdad? Esta transformación se está produciendo en todo el mundo, sobre todo en los países desarrollados. Imagina un mundo en el que los años dorados de la vida se extienden mucho más allá de lo que conocemos hoy. Los europeos, por ejemplo, viven más que nunca y su objetivo es aprovechar al máximo su jubilación. Los estudios han demostrado que las personas mayores que permanecen activas y mantienen el contacto y sus relaciones sociales tienen más probabilidades de conservar su salud física y mental, y no sólo eso, sino que también tienen más posibilidades de disfrutar de una jubilación más feliz y satisfactoria. En un giro imaginativo, vemos cómo se introduce a las personas mayores en las reuniones digitales y se inician vías de aprendizaje digital que se interconectan.

🇬🇧 Have you ever stopped to consider how the dramatic increase in our aging population might change the very fabric of our society? It's an intriguing thought isn't it? This transformation is sweeping across the globe particularly in developed countries.

Imagine if you will a world where the golden years of life extend far beyond what we know today Europeans for instance are living longer than ever before and their focus is Shifting towards making the most of their retirement. There's an increasing number of older individuals participating in all sorts of meaningful activities.

Some are picking up new hobbies diving into sports they've never tried before or even learning new skills others are choosing to volunteer their time or travel to places they've always dreamed of visiting and why not Studies have shown that older individuals who stay active and maintain their social connections are more likely to preserve their physical and mental health not only that but they also have a better chance of enjoying a happier more satisfying retirement in an imaginative twist we see seniors being introduced to digital meetings and initiating digital learning Pathways that interconnect.

Durante la sesión, nuestros voluntarios desarrollaron varias de las actividades del proyecto: diseño de una ruta turística patrimonial, taller de neurográfica y mandalas, rutina de ejercicios para mantener la salud física y mental.

ESP. 🇪🇸 Investigadores del grupo de la Universidad Católica de ÁvilaUniversidad Católica de Ávila han celebrado en La Haya (Países Bajos) la reunión final del proyecto "Digital competencies in Cultural Heritage for older students. Planting the seed of our future"

Los socios del proyecto, cofinanciado por el programa Plus de la Comisión Europea, presentaron los resultados de los dos años de trabajo y acordaron las acciones para la celebración del evento multiplicador y la publicación de resultados.

ENG. 🇬🇧 Researchers from the Tehipacd group of the have held in Den Haag (The Netherlands) the final meeting of the project ‘Digital competencies in Cultural Heritage for older students. Planting the seed of our future’-seed4os.

The partners of the project, co-funded by the Erasmus Plus programme of the European Commission, presented the results of the two years of work and agreed on the actions for the celebration of the multiplier event and the publication of results.
