The October meeting came saw Brother Paul Oakenfold take the 'big chair' for the first time.

The lodge was truly honoured by the Gran Maestero Provincial accompanied by the Provincal Grand Director of Ceremonies and THREE past provincial Grand Masters with one flying in from Fuerteventura just for the occasion!

The Lodge was duly opened and the installation proceeded with gusto. The extended inner workings carried out in sublime manner by the DC W.Bro Tony P. .

The Lodge was then returned to the 3rd degree and the Brothers saluted down to the 1st degree with the tools superbly each recited by Bro. Smith, Bro. Colwell and Bro.Jones
The three addresses were delivered in excellent manner and then the new Master took control to continue with the items on the summons. The lodge was closed accordingly and the Brethren retired to refreshment.

Much hearty jovility ensued and the master was celebrated by song in the traditional manner.
The new Master rose to thank the attending brethren and his officers for their support and greatly appreciated the hard work by the installing officers to make the evening such a memorable event and one that will live with him for a very long time.

The two knocks for the Tyler brought the evening to a close and the Brethren made their way home to their loved one

The Grand Lodge of Spain has signed a mutual recognition agreement with the I-SPN-YA Freemasons Motorcycle Association for the implementation of humanitarian and recreational initiatives. The Grand Master of the GLE, M.R.H. Txema Olega, aware of the excellent events organized by this Association, which highlight the principles and aims of regular Freemasonry in Spain, conveys his deepest affection to all his Brothers. He thanks you for spreading fraternity and joy, and for the help you offer to society.

Benjamin Franklin became a member of Saint John's Lodge in Philadelphia in 1730, a few years after starting his own society, the Leather Apron Club.

He remained active in the group for more than 50 years, serving as Grand Master of Pennsylvania in 1734. He also printed the first Masonic publication, "The Constitutions of the Free-Masons," in the colonies. The book remains one of the rarest in the world, with only 20 verified copies currently.

While in Paris during the American Revolution, Franklin served as Venerable Master from 1779 to 1781. His membership in the order didn't interfere with his role as a Founding Father and American inventor.

Regular Spanish Masonry has undergone a major process of renewal and growth in recent years. Thanks to this effort, we have managed to organize essential aspects to face the challenges of our time. However, beyond the structural progress, it has been adversity that has led us to deep reflection on our mission.
