In the chapter "Gender Governance in South American Regionalism: Institutions, Norms, and Policy Frameworks," Andrea C. Bianculli examines the trajectory of these policies from the establishment of the IACW in 1928 to their development within ECLAC, the CAN, and MERCOSUR.
Through a comparative analysis, the text highlights the role of activists and transnational networks in shaping the regional agenda while evaluating the institutionalization of these frameworks within the current context.
