¡Nelly Cordero y Kiara Cruz ganan el cuarto Premio al Mejor TFM en Desarrollo Sostenible! 🏆

Lo otorga nuestra Cátedra en Comunicación Institucional para el Desarrollo Sostenible, dirigida por Toni Aira y creada junto a 🌱

Su trabajo demuestra que los forwarders, aunque no tengan buques ni puertos, pueden impulsar la descarbonización del transporte marítimo 🚢 Para ello proponen rutas más sostenibles, soluciones intermodales y una mejor comunicación de las emisiones.

Last week, we officially opened the 2026-2027 academic year at UPF Barcelona School of Management, welcoming our new students to a journey of learning, connection and growth!

The inaugural lecture was delivered by Lucas Martínez, cofounder of Talent.com, introduced by Eli Alvarez. Far from a polished success story, Lucas talked about overnight buses, meetings that led nowhere and a first year when nothing seemed to work. He left the room with one question: why not you?

"A few words of encouragement can change what someone is willing to attempt", affirms Lucas Martínez. 💬

We also heard from three of our students: Martina Sopena Campolier (Master in Corporate and Strategic Communication), Kashish Hapani (MBA) and Damilola (Master in Public and Social Policy). They shared what brought them here and what they hope to build in this new chapter.

To close the ceremony, our Director General, José M. Martínez-Sierra, made a pledge to the new cohort: "This school will be a better school when you finish your program than it was when you started it".

Welcome to UPF-BSM. The journey starts now. 🚀

The summer is over, and our campuses come alive again. 🚀

We are delighted to welcome a new generation of students to UPF Barcelona School of Management. Last week, both our Balmes and Ciutadella campuses opened their doors to new faces from around the world, including the new international cohort of our Master of Science programs.

140 students are going to find out by joining our Language Xchange! 🌍 A free initiative for students from different master’s programmes to practise languages, make new friends and discover new cultures.

📍At our campus, some of the participants met face to face for the first time to find their match and form their groups. Now it’s their turn to plan their sessions!

Every 26 September, Europe celebrates what happens when cultures meet. And few places capture it better than a classroom where students arrive from every corner of the world.

That mix of voices, accents and perspectives is what turns a lecture into a real exchange, and a degree into a global experience ✨

Diversity is not something we add. It is how we work, think and grow together 👏🏼

Des de fa més de 150 anys, Barcelona fa una pausa cada mes de setembre per celebrar 'La Mercè'.

El que va començar el 1871 com a festa major de la ciutat s'ha convertit en una de les millors expressions de la cultura catalana: castells, correfocs i gegants que omplen els carrers, on la tradició centenària es troba amb l'art contemporani.

Però 'La Mercè' és més que una celebració. És un reflex del que representa Barcelona: una ciutat oberta, creativa i profundament connectada amb la seva cultura. La mateixa ciutat que s'ha convertit en un dels principals centres d'Europa per a negocis, talent i innovació, i en una de les destinacions més atractives per als estudiants internacionals.

Estudiar a la UPF Barcelona School of Management significa aprendre en aquesta ciutat, i per descomptat, formar-ne part: part de la seva cultura, la seva energia i una comunitat que reuneix més de 130 nacionalitats diferents.

Remember Yana? We met her back in March, halfway through her journey at UPF-BSM. 👀

And her story just came full circle: she has finished our Master in Data Analytics for Business and landed the job of her dreams. 🎉 She says the master was the springboard, but the drive and the hard work were all hers. 🚀

Seeing a student cross the finish line this happy is exactly why we do what we do. ❤️
