And if that wasn't exciting enough, it's free! Tandem MOOC gives students from all over the world the opportunity to practise their speaking skills in their target language (Spanish or English). We do this by using the SpeakApps tools and providing learners with online tasks. The SpeakApps project focuses on creating a free and open source online platform that gathers ICT-based applications and pe

dagogies to practice oral skills online. The platform developed by the project is a community composed of foreign language teachers and their students. It works on an OER (Open Educational Resources) and has three tools designed for the development of oral skills:
1. Videochat
3. Langblog

In the course, we use Tandem and Videochat for speaking interaction. For more information about SpeakApps and its tools, check out www.speakapps.eu
