In the coming days, you will have access to register for your second-semester COURSES through the SIGMA platform. Please rest assured: the entire process is carefully organized, with clear instructions, sufficient time, and full support available to ensure everything goes smoothly for everyone. There is no need to rush—take your time to review everything carefully.
We strongly recommend reading the email you received in full and visiting the official tutorials for step-by-step guidance:

Here are the key points to help you prepare with confidence:
-Access the platform via “Gestión de prematrícula/Pre-enrollment” in SIGMA. For the best experience, we suggest using a computer with Google Chrome or Firefox.
- When you spot an available place in a desired course, add it using the “+” button and confirm right away (you can continue adding more courses afterward).
- Please make sure there are no timetable overlaps, and remember the maximum is 30 ECTS credits.
The platform manages simultaneous logins to keep everything stable—if you see a brief wait message, simply try again in a few minutes.
One quick but essential step: Before finalizing your registration, ensure you check the Data Protection Authorization at the bottom of the page. This prevents any common errors and confirms your choices are saved correctly.
We also advise jotting down your selected course groups, timetables, classrooms, and professors’ names (Aula Global updates gradually, so having your own notes is very helpful).
You have a generous window to register or make changes: until February 2, 2026, at 14:00 local time. This gives you plenty of flexibility—if your preferred courses show as full at first, don’t worry.
It is very common for additional spots to open up as other students adjust their selections (often continuing until around February 6 and sometimes longer).
Please stay flexible in discussion with your home university, and take a realistic look at any prerequisites listed for each course.Our team is here for you every step of the way.

Your COURSE ENROLLMENT at UC3M starts tomorrow, January 20th! 🎓 Remember: spots are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Speed is key! ⚡️

Follow these 3 essential steps to be ready:
1️⃣ Check your Appointment: Verify your exact date and time slot on the platfrm. Don’t be late!
2️⃣ Practice on SIGMA: Today is the day to use the simulation platform! It’s identical to the real system and will help you avoid mistakes tomorrow. 💻
3️⃣ Check Availability: Since Jan 15th, you can see how many spots are left for each subject. Have a "Plan B" ready!
