Idioms are one of the hardest parts of the English language. 🗣️

This summer, one of our students set out to tackle them for Hindi and Urdu speakers, focusing on both meaning and pronunciation. She explored how the sounds learners already share across their home languages can support accurate pronunciation. Her project was a great example of teaching that builds on the languages learners already bring to the classroom. 🌍💬

Education has taken him around the world — but it's music and theatre that keep him rooted in community. 🎭🎶

Here's what Michael Glenn has been up to since graduating from Endicott International:

"I was Head of Early Years and Primary at The International School of Ostrava, Deputy Headmaster at Landmark East, Wolfville, Nova Scotia, and now Autism Specialist with the Annapolis Valley Centre of Education in Nova Scotia. In my spare time, I’m hosting a podcast to highlight the amazing music of Nova Scotia in particular the Annapolis Valley, in the new Wolfville edition of www.sfhaa.ca, and directing plays within local theatre."
