is drawing to a close — and you won’t want to miss the final lecture.

The last session will be done by Dietmar Eberle, one of the most influential figures in contemporary architecture.
As co-founder of baumschlager eberle architects — a practice with 17 international locations, more than 500 completed projects, and 122 awards — Eberle has played a key role in shaping contemporary architectural practice. He will share his vision with us in this concluding session of November Talks.

Lecture: “Housing in Europe: Price Trends and Quality”

The presentation will describe the driving forces of house prices and their relation to different average annual incomes. In addition to this point, we will talk about different standards of housing in Europe and the contribution done by our office in relation to this question.

Hrvoje Njirić — architect and educator — has continuously expanded the dialogue between architecture, culture, and education across continents. This month, he joins to present his lecture:

“Housing and Other Ways of Being Together”

The lecture addresses changing housing policies in Croatia and the theme of crisis in three ways. It examines housing across different environmental and typological conditions and in relation to other programs; it also links housing theory with practice, highlighting how teaching and studio work productively influence each other; and finally, it shows how the architect/client dual role opens up new possibilities for experimentation.
