Tomorrow the Institute will close for the Easter holidays, following several months of intense activity that reflect the dynamism and commitment of our entire community.
During this period, we have held significant initiatives such as the exhibition “Repression, Distortion and Peace!”, whose opening brought together more than 50 attendees and which welcomed around 100 visitors throughout its run — a space for reflection and dialogue that has left a lasting impression.
The first part of the Master’s Programme 2025–2026 has also come to an end. Our students are now fully immersed in a key stage: the writing and defense of their Master’s theses, moving forward with rigor and enthusiasm.
We have also had the privilege of hosting visiting researchers, who presented their doctoral work, enriching academic exchange. In November, we presented the IISL research lines for 2026, which already count with the participation of more than 200 people.
In addition, the IISL has signed new agreements with different universities, strengthening our international vocation and opening new opportunities for collaboration.
The rest of 2026 is already shaping up to be extraordinary. We have confirmed visits from 25 professors representing 15 different countries — a powerful testament to our global reach and academic excellence. A clear reflection of the quality and international spirit that define IISL: the world is coming together here.
Thank you to everyone who is part of this collective momentum. We will return after Easter with new projects, ideas, and renewed energy.
