🧪 Learning about the digestive system!
Our Year 4 pupils have been exploring how the digestive system works by creating their own model to demonstrate the journey food takes through the body, from the mouth through the different organs as nutrients are processed and absorbed.
A fun, hands-on way to bring science to life, deepen their understanding and learn through discovery! 💚

Nuestro alumnado de Year 4 ha descubierto cómo funciona el sistema digestivo creando su propio modelo para representar el recorrido de los alimentos por el cuerpo, desde la boca hasta los distintos órganos que intervienen en la digestión y la absorción de nutrientes.
¡Una forma práctica y divertida de acercarse a la ciencia, comprender mejor cómo funciona nuestro cuerpo y aprender experimentando! 💚

💻✨ Developing Digital Learning at ELIS Villamartín!
Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome Sabrina Espasandin, Digital Learning Adviser for Cognita Spain, for a day of learning, reflection and sharing.
Sabrina met with our Digital Leaders, Toñi & Bea, staff and students, visited classrooms to see digital learning in action, and delivered a training session on Flint AI and the responsible use of AI in education. 🤖📚
A great opportunity to celebrate good practice and explore new ways technology can support great teaching and meaningful learning. 🌟
Thank you to everyone who made it such a productive day!

Yesterday, 40 of our Sixth Form students had the opportunity to attend the UNitour University Fair in Murcia, where they discovered first-hand the university options offered by more than 20 universities. 🎓 It was a valuable experience, giving them the chance to explore different pathways and start thinking about their future with a broader perspective.
And there’s more to come! ✨
In February, we will be hosting the 15th ELIS University Fair at ELIS Villamartín. It will be a fantastic opportunity for families to visit the fair together, meet representatives from a wide range of leading universities and explore their options first-hand. 🤝
A great opportunity to take the next step towards university together. 🚀

Ayer, 40 de nuestros alumnos de Bachillerato tuvieron la oportunidad de asistir a la Feria de Universidades UNitour en Murcia, donde pudieron conocer de primera mano las opciones universitarias que ofrecen más de 20 universidades. 🎓 Una experiencia muy enriquecedora que les permitió explorar diferentes caminos y comenzar a pensar en su futuro con una perspectiva más amplia.
¡Y esto no ha hecho más que empezar! ✨
En febrero celebraremos la XV Feria de Universidades ELIS en ELIS Villamartín. Será una oportunidad fantástica para que las familias puedan visitar la feria junto a sus hijos, conocer a representantes de múltiples universidades de primer orden y explorar de primera mano las diferentes opciones universitarias. 🤝

🎨 Exploring the world of colour!
Last week in Art, Year 2A have been exploring Primary and Secondary colours. 🌈 We started with the Primary colours — red, blue and yellow — and experimented with mixing them to create Secondary colours: green, purple and orange. 🖌️
From discovering new colours to creating our own colour wheels, it was a fantastic lesson full of creativity, curiosity and experimentation! 💚

La semana pasada, en Arte, Year 2A ha estado explorando los colores primarios y secundarios. 🌈 Empezamos con los colores primarios — rojo, azul y amarillo — y experimentamos mezclándolos para crear los colores secundarios: verde, morado y naranja. 🖌️
Desde descubrir nuevos colores hasta crear nuestros propios círculos cromáticos, ¡disfrutamos de una clase llena de creatividad, curiosidad y experimentación! 💚
