Researcher Florencia Sofía Gómez from the Green Engineering and Resources group of the Universidad de Cantabria , gave a talk on the occasion of the 10th edition of on emerging pollutants in water and their impact on the environment. The talk was part of the European research project BAPUR “Fully Bio-based Advanced Filtration Systems for Removal of Emerging Pollutants from Water”, which seeks to develop multi-layer filter systems obtained from waste materials to eliminate emerging pollutants. The project is funded by the M-ERA.net call, which promotes sustainable solutions to protect water resources.

It's time for sharing knowledge! This time Alberto Coz and Tamara Llano Astuy made a seminar entitled "The importance of decision making in biorefineries" to students of Green Chemistry and researchers of the Triantafyllidis Research group (https://ktrianta.webpages.auth.gr/). Thanks to the Chemistry School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Thanks to Dr. Konstantinos S. Triantafyllidis and the whole research group and of course thanks to EcoResources enterprise. We will keep collaborating in much more projects together.

With the support of our valuable allies, Universidad de Cantabria , Mates, Interreg 2 Seas, IPSE, SGGW / Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Royal Academy of Engineering, Aquatera Ltd, Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, EPM estamos ahí, Cotecmar, Heriot-Watt University, EMEC, Oceans of Energy, Newton Fund, Elemental Water Makers and Smart Hydro Power , we have managed to positively impact more than 3,000 people from our different stakeholders in Energy Transformation projects!

We highlight the approach with 14 communities in Non-Interconnected Zones from Colombia in Bocas del Atrato, Puerto Carreño, Manaure La Paz, Pueblo Viejo, San Andrés y Providencia, Santa Cruz del Islote, Isla Fuerte, among others, to learn about their water and energy needs. In addition to signing 2 MOUs for scientific cooperation between Colombia and Europe on energy production.

If you want to learn more on renewable energies, we invite you to the event "Building a Sustainable & Inclusive Future of Colombia Based on Engineering Business Opportunities for Hydrogen Industry" funded by the Awardee Excellence Community of the Royal Academy of Engineering, that will take place in La Guajira with broadcast on YouTube for which you can pre-register through the following link:
