🌍 A new cohort joins the imAGEin community!

From 2 to 4 September, Université Côte d'Azur is hosting the Welcome Week of the Ulysseus Erasmus Mundus Joint Master on the Biology of Ageing (imAGEin), officially launching the journey of the new 2026–2028 cohort.

This cohort brings together 31 students from 16 different countries, embarking on an exciting international journey into the biology of ageing.

This year, the Welcome Week is taking place alongside the Summer School of the programme’s first cohort (2025–2027), creating a unique opportunity for students from both cohorts to connect, exchange experiences and learn from one another.

Through workshops, poster sessions, dedicated discussions and get-to-know activities, these first days are all about building connections, fostering collaboration and creating a strong imAGEin community.

✨ Exciting news for the Ulysseus community! ✨

We are delighted to share that the EIT Higher Education Initiative (EIT HEI) has awarded €1.98 million in funding to the Ulysseus European University satellite project “Transformative Entrepreneurship for Futures-ready Ulysseus Innovators” (TEF-UI) as part of the 2025 Call for Proposals 🎉🚀

Through TEF-UI, we will advance our vision of future-oriented entrepreneurship education in STEM disciplines, empowering the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs with the skills, knowledge, and mindset needed to address global challenges and create sustainable solutions 🌍💡

🔮 At the heart of the project is Futures Literacy (FL), a key competence that enables learners to anticipate, imagine, and actively shape the future. TEF-UI will develop an innovative Futures Literacy toolkit for STEM higher education across Europe, helping students navigate uncertainty, embrace complexity, and drive meaningful change.

Food and nutritional resilience is essential for a sustainable future in Senegal.

🌍 How can Mali build a more resilient and sustainable food system?

In the newest NEEMA Country Report video, Mamadou Nientao explores the pressing issue of food and nutritional security in Mali, a country where poverty, climate-related disasters, and recurring shocks continue to challenge the livelihoods of millions.

The report - which belongs to Ulysseus satellite project NEEMA - highlights the four pillars of food security: availability, access, utilization, and stability, while identifying the barriers that prevent vulnerable populations from fully benefiting from them.
