A Night Out (1959) follows Albert Stokes, a shy 29-year-old Londoner suffocated by his dominant mother. After an intense office party, his frustration leads to a volatile encounter with a desperate, controlling woman, exposing post-war societal pressures that push ordinary people to the brink of sanity.

A look into the rehearsals for CHASE, a piece choreographed by for this year’s Momentos dance show

Remagined excerpt from the production ELSEWHERE, - presented by 92NY Women Move the World season and premiered by YYDC in New York City, this fast paced and dynamic section packed with multilayered, diverse and complex movement vocabulary.

The excerpt features movement elements rooted in contemporary interpretation as well as Chinese classical dance, Mongolian, Tibetan dance elements and aesthetic influences from South East Asia.

As Ànima El Musical ( ) concludes its amazing run at the Teatre Tívoli today, Institute of the Arts Barcelona extends its warmest congratulations to the entire production.

Today we feature guest choreographer Chema Zamora working with our Commercial Dance students.

IAB has been incredibly fortunate to connect with the some of the show’s creative team, having also previously hosted its director, Gara Roda , and composer, Abel Garriga .garriga . It has been a privilege and we celebrate the phenomenal success of everyone involved. 🌟

The countdown has begun!

Head Over Heels by BA (Hons) Musical Theatre graduating class is currently in its final week of rehearsals.

This musical, which pairs an Elizabethan narrative with the songs of The Go-Go’s, is led by a creative team featuring director Tania Azevedo , choreographer Taylor Walker .walkerr , and musical director Bob Broad . This show explores themes of love, identity, and self-acceptance.

This production features two alternating casts, the Beat Cast and the Heels Cast
Performances take place next week from 27 - 30 May.
