We have been working over the past few months on a small project: the Microcredential in Nautical and Underwater Archaeology at the University of Valencia.
This is a postgraduate, theory-and-practice-based course that will offer participants the opportunity to dive again at the Grau Vell site in Sagunto, where the remains of the ancient Roman harbor lie at a depth of approximately 4 meters.
Participants must already hold a valid diving certification and insurance that allows them to dive.
The best part is the course fee, which-although still pending official approval-will be significantly lower than what is typically expected for this type of training.
We are currently in the pre-enrolment phase, and we hope to gather the minimum number of students required for the course to move forward.
