Mañana comienza una aventura que deseamos sea inolvidable. 🌏✨

Las estudiantes que participarán en el Summer School de la Shanghai Normal University afrontan esta experiencia con una mezcla de nervios, ilusión y muchísimas ganas de aprender. Durante un mes vivirán una inmersión completa en una cultura muy diferente, mucho más allá del turismo, descubriendo nuevas formas de entender el mundo tanto a nivel académico como personal.

Hoy han estado acompañadas por Sisa Sierra, vicedecana de la Facultad de Comunicación, y por Eszter Jámbor, responsable de Relaciones Internacionales, quienes han compartido con nuestras alumnas experiencias y consejos sobre el choque cultural que supone viajar a un país tan fascinante como el gigante asiático. Muchas gracias por dedicar un ratito de vuestro tiempo.

Desde Psicología hasta Comunicación Audiovisual, coinciden en que esta oportunidad les permitirá conocer nuevas metodologías, explorar otras perspectivas profesionales y aprender de una realidad cultural que transformará su manera de ver las cosas. Para quienes aman el cine, la comunicación y la creatividad, será también una ocasión única para descubrir cómo la cultura influye en la forma de contar historias.

Aunque los nervios siguen presentes, la emoción pesa mucho más. Esperamos que todo vaya bien y que esta experiencia supere cualquier expectativa, porque están a punto de vivir algo realmente especial.

Un mes en Shanghái, nuevas amistades, nuevos aprendizajes y una experiencia que, sin duda, dejará huella para siempre. 🇨🇳❤️

Bianca Popescu, de la Oficina de transferencia del conocimiento (OTC), comparte el siguiente testimonio sobre su última experiencia de movilidad en Alemania:

“I had the opportunity to participate in the course “Managing Projects in University Administration” held in Münster (Germany). During this training, I deepened my knowledge of project management tools and methodologies, from the planning phase to final evaluation, as well as key skills such as effective communication and lateral leadership.

The course combined theory with practical activities, group work, and real case studies, making it easier to apply the knowledge to university contexts. It was also an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences with professionals from other institutions and expand my international network.”

Javier Saura’s stay at İzmir Katip Çelebi University 🇹🇷✨

My experience as a visiting professor in İzmir has been incredibly enriching and rewarding, both academically and personally. It gave me the opportunity to discover how everyday university life works within a culture as different, yet as close to ours, as the Turkish one.

The hospitality of İzmir Katip Çelebi University has been truly unforgettable. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend this experience to any professor with an international mindset and interest in global collaboration.

Our colleague Cristina Zurutuza, from , recently completed an Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility stay at the Università degli Studi di Salerno 🇮🇹

During her stay, she taught Communication students and took part in meetings with professors and researchers from the Department of Political, Social and Communication Sciences. It was a highly enriching experience that allowed for the exchange of teaching methodologies, the exploration of project-based learning approaches, and the opening of new opportunities for international collaboration.

La semana pasada, la Universidad San Jorge dio la bienvenida a nuevos estudiantes Incoming.

Llegados desde Irlanda, República Checa, Grecia y Eslovenia, 29 estudiantes vinieron a Zaragoza a formarse a través de un BIP: El Tren Blanco. Gracias a él, los estudiantes tanto incoming como los que participaban desde la USJ, han podido conocer sobre la historia de España y su cultura, así como aprender a redactar historias para los más pequeños.

¡Sin duda un gran aprendizaje que esperamos pongan pronto en práctica!

Last week, San Jorge University welcomed new incoming students.

Arriving from Ireland, the Czech Republic, Greece, and Slovenia, 29 students came to Zaragoza to participate in a BIP program: El Tren Blanco (The White Train). Thanks to this program, both incoming students and those already participating from USJ were able to learn about Spanish history and culture, as well as how to write stories for young children.

It was undoubtedly a valuable learning experience that we hope they will soon put into practice!

✨ Our colleague María José González, lecturer in the Degree in Education at and in the Master’s Degree in Teacher Training, recently took part in a teaching mobility at the Escola Superior de Educação de Lisboa thanks to an Erasmus+ scholarship 🌍✈️

“My teaching mobility at the Escola Superior de Educação de Lisboa has been wonderful. It has been really enriching to teach in a different academic environment and to meet colleagues who share similar interests. The welcome from the host university could not have been better. Now all that is left is to start thinking about my next destination!” 💙

Last week, our colleague Luis Romero from the International Office took part in an International Staff Week hosted by Vytautas Magnus University, titled “Inclusive Higher Education and Society.”

It was an inspiring and enriching experience, featuring a wide range of workshops focused on inclusion from different perspectives. Beyond the sessions, Luis had the opportunity to connect with colleagues from universities around the world who share a common interest in building more inclusive academic environments.

The week also offered a chance to explore the vibrant cities of Kaunas and Vilnius, making it both professionally and culturally rewarding.

A truly memorable experience that strengthens our commitment to inclusion in higher education!

Our colleague Eszter Jámbor, Head of the International Office, just got back from the EAIE Academy in Amsterdam! 🎓✨

She spent two intensive days in a hands-on training course tackling real-world management challenges and exploring the strategic role of international offices.

Eszter returns with fresh ideas, practical tools, and improved communication and leadership skills — all to keep supporting and strengthening our team at San Jorge University. 💪🌍
