Unity University Successfully Conducts Grade 12 National Examination

Unity University successfully hosted the Ethiopian Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination (ESSLCE) at its Gerji campus.

A total of 314 Grade 12 students from Lem General Secondary
School sat for the examination, which was conducted in five rounds.

The examination was administered smoothly in a secure, well-organized, and conducive environment, with strict adherence to all national examination rules and procedures.

To facilitate the successful administration of the examination, Unity University provided fully equipped computer laboratories, reliable internet connectivity, qualified technical expert, and other essential resources.

As part of its social responsibility, Unity University remains committed to contributing to the successful and efficient implementation of national educational programs and supporting efforts to improve the quality of education in Ethiopia.

Unity University Leadership Participates in Forum for Executive Leaders

Unity University President and CEO Dr. Arega Yirdaw, and Deputy President for Finance and Manpower Management, Berekete Mamo participated in the Forum for Executive Leaders (FEEL), a forum that brings together leaders to share their experiences and insights on leadership and management.

The forum, held on July 16, 2026, featured Meaza Ashenafi, Ethiopia's former first female chief justice, co-founder of the Ethiopian Women Lawyers Association and Enat Bank, the first women's bank in Ethiopia.

During the session, Meaza Ashenafi shared valuable lessons from her leadership journey, followed by an engaging question and answer discussion with participants.

Previously Forum for Executive leaders hosted giant business and industry leaders including Dr. Arega Yirdaw, the former CEO of MIDROC Technology Group and current President and CEO of Unity University.

Dr. Arega shared his extensive leadership experience and professional insights with participants.

The FEEL Leadership Experience Forum is jointly organized by the Addis Chamber and SAK Training and Consultancy.

Business leaders from diverse industries participate in the forum, which provides a valuable platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and leadership development.
