1. Project Background

The She-F.E.R.A. (Moringa) Project is a 12-month initiative (15 Sep, 2026 – 15, Aug, 2027) implemented in the Karat Zuria district of Konso Zone and the Derashe district of Gardula Zone, South Ethiopia Regional State. The project integrates moringa cultivation with sorghum and beans to strengthen resilient food systems and promote sustainable economic growth in the moringa agroforestry value chain, benefiting approximately 9,287 individuals (1,500 households). AMU is responsible for applied research on agroforestry and indigenous cultivation techniques, technical assistance to processing units, and related capacity-building activities.

3. Required Qualifications

➢ MSc candidate (registered/enrolled) in Food Technology, Food Science, Soil science, Biotechnology, or a related field.
➢ Strong academic background with experience in laboratory work, data collection, and applied research.
➢ Preference given to candidates with experience in enset fermentation, food processing, or food quality evaluation.
➢ Ability to support field trials, sample analysis, and technical reporting.
➢ Ethiopian nationality (as per approved project Human Resources Plan).
➢ Strong written and spoken English.

4. Key Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the AMU Investigator, the selected MSc Student will:
➢ Engage in hands-on experimental work, including laboratory analyses, field data collection, and sample processing.
➢ Contribute to preliminary data interpretation and analysis.
➢ Support literature review and contribute to project report writing.
➢ Assist in the organization and delivery of workshops or training sessions related to project activities.
➢ Submit a brief monthly progress note on research/field activities, countersigned by the Investigator.

5. Eligibility and Continuation Conditions

Selection is undertaken by AMU in consultation with the Investigator and Project Coordinator, based on the qualification profile above, transparent shortlisting, and an interview/assessment process. Continuation of the monthly stipend is conditional on:
➢ Valid, active MSc registration/enrolment status throughout the engagement;
➢ Verified attendance and delivery of assigned research and field tasks each month;
➢ Compliance with AMU academic regulations and CESVI/AICS codes of conduct, including the
PSEA Policy, the Policy on Prevention of Fraud and Corruption, the Child Safeguarding Policy, and the Ethical Code;
➢ Continued availability of approved budget under the relevant line item of the project budget.

3. Required Qualifications

➢ PhD candidate (registered/enrolled) in Food Science, Post-Harvest Technology, Agronomy, Rural Development, Biotechnology, Plant science, Agroforestry, or a related field.
➢ Demonstrated experience conducting independent research and managing laboratory work.
➢ Experience or demonstrated capacity in supervising postgraduate (MSc) students.
➢ Skilled in field experimentation, data analysis, and scientific/technical reporting.
➢ Prior experience collaborating with universities, research institutes, or development partners is an advantage.
➢ Strong written and spoken English.

4. Key Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the AMU Investigator, the selected PhD Student will:

➢ Lead defined sub-projects within the broader She-F.E.R.A. research framework.
➢ Design and implement advanced experiments and develop new research methodologies.
➢ Supervise and mentor junior/MSc students engaged on the project.
➢ Contribute significantly to scientific publications, reports, and presentations.
➢ Participate in stakeholder engagement, training, and dissemination of research findings
➢ Submit a brief monthly progress note on research/field activities, countersigned by the Investigator.

ወ/ሮ አስካለ ተሻለ አምቴኢ/አውቴኢ ከሰኔ 01/2005 ዓ.ም ጀምሮ የጽዳት ሠራተኛ በመሆን እንዲሁም ከመስከረም 1/2017 ዓ.ም ጀምሮ በአርባ ምንጭ ዩኒቨርሲቲ በተማሪዎች ምግብ አገልግሎት ስር የመስተንግዶ ሠራተኛ በመሆን እስከ ኅልፈተ ሞታቸው ድረስ ሲያገለግሉ ቆይተዋል፡፡

የየአርባ ምንጭ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ሠራተኞች ገንዘብ ቁጠባና ብድር መሠረታዊ ኅብረት ሥራ ማኅበር ጠቅላላ ጉባኤውን አካሄደ

አርባ ምንጭ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ሠራተኞች ገንዘብ ቁጠባና ብድር መሠረታዊ ኅብረት ሥራ ማኅበር የ2018 በጀት ዓመት ጠቅላላ የፋይናንስ የሥራ ክንውን እና የ2019 በጀት ዓመት ዕቅድ ሪፖርት ግምገማ ነሐሴ 23 ቀን 2018 ዓ.ም አካሄደ፡፡

ጠቅላላ ጉባዔው የ2018 በጀት ዓመት የፋይናንስ ክንውን፣ የ2019 በጀት ዓመት ዕቅድ፣ የተሻሻሉ መተዳደሪያ ደንቦችና መመሪያዎች ማጽደቅ፣ የዝግጅት ምዕራፍ ትግበራ፣ የውስጥና የፋይናንስ ውጤታማነትን ማሳደግ እንዲሁም በልዩ ልዩ ምክንያት በተጓደሉ የኮሚቴ አባላት ምትክ ምርጫ ማካሄድን ጨምሮ በሌሎች ተያያዥ አጀንዳዎች ላይ ተወያይቶ አጽድቋል፡፡

በጉባዔው ላይ የተገኙት የምርምርና ትብብር ምክትል ፕሬዝደንት ዶክተር ተክሉ ወጋየሁ እንደገለጹት፣ ሀገራዊ ኢኮኖሚያዊ ተግዳሮቶችን ተቋቁሞ ለማለፍ ዘመኑን የሚመጥን የቴክኖሎጂ ዕውቀትና አሠራር መከተል አስፈላጊ ነው፡፡ ማኅበሩ ከአባላት ቁጠባን በማሰባሰብ በተመጣጠነ ወለድ የብድር አገልግሎት የሚሰጥ ትልቅ ተቋም በመሆኑ የዩኒቨርሲቲው ሠራተኞች ሁሉ አባል ሊሆኑ እንደሚገባ አሳስበዋል፡፡ አክለውም በ2019 በጀት ዓመት የአባላቱን የመቆጠብና የመበደር አቅም ማሻሻል እንዲሁም የአገልግሎት አሰጣጡን ከዩኒቨርሲቲው ውጭ ለሚገኙ የማኅበረሰብ ክፍሎች ማዳረስ እንደሚገባ ተናግረዋል፡፡

የማኅበሩ ሰብሳቢ ረዳት ፕሮፌሰር ቀሲስ ልሳነወርቅ አማረ በበኩላቸው፣ ማኅበሩ ነሐሴ 7 ቀን 1991 ዓ.ም በ60 መስራች አባላት ከተቋቋመበት ጊዜ ጀምሮ ከፍተኛ ዕድገት ማስመዘገቡን ገልጸዋል፡፡ በ2018 በጀት ዓመት መጨረሻ የማኅበሩ የአባላት ቁጥር 1,845 ወንዶችና 1,521 ሴቶች በድምሩ 3,366 መድረሱን ጠቁመው፣ አገልግሎቱን ለማሳለጥ የሰውና የጊዜ ሀብትን በአግባቡ በመጠቀም፣ ክፍተቶችን በመገምገምና የዕርምት ርምጃ በመውሰድ ሥራዎች በዲሲፕሊን እየተመሩ እንደሚገኙ አብራርተዋል፡፡

ማኅበሩ እስከ 2020 ዓ.ም ሀገር አቀፍ ደረጃውን የጠበቀ የኅብረት ሥራ ማኅበር የመሆን ራዕይ ሰንቆ እየሠራ እንደሚገኝ የጠቆሙት ሰብሳቢው፣ በበጀት ዓመቱ ከ11 ሚሊዮን ብር በላይ ለአባላት የትርፍ ክፍፍል ማድረጉን፣ 109 ሚሊዮን ብር ብድር ማሰራጨቱንና ጠቅላላ ሀብቱ ከ158 ሚሊዮን ብር በላይ መድረሱን ገልጸዋል፡፡

በተጨማሪም ማኅበሩ የማኅበረሰብ አገልግሎትና ልማት ተሳትፎ አካል በመሆን ለአርባ ምንጭ ዓለም አቀፍ ስታዲየም ግንባታ 100,000 ብር፣ በጎርፍና በመሬት መንሸራተት አደጋ ለተጎዱ ወገኖች ደግሞ 50,000 ብር ድጋፍ ማድረጉ ተገልጻል፡፡
ለጠቅላላ ጉባዔው ዝግጅት የኢትዮጵያ ንግድ ባንክ 500,000 ብር እንዲሁም አሐዱ ባንክ 87,500 ብር የስፖንሰርሺፕ ድጋፍ ማድረጋቸውን በመጥቀስ ሰብሳቢው ተቋማቱ ላደረጉት ሁለንተናዊ ድጋፍ ምስጋና አቅርበዋል፡፡

በዕለቱ የኢትዩጵያ ንግድ ባንክ ወላይታ ሶዶ ዲሰትሪክት የሥራ ኃላፊዎች በጉባኤው የተገኙ ሲሆን ስለ ባንኩ አሰራርና ስለሚሰጣቸው አገልግሎቶች ለተሳታፊዎች ማብራሪያ ሰጥተዋል፡፡

Ethiopia’s Nile success sets course for Red Sea

: Ethiopia can replicate the national unity, determination and commitment demonstrated in utilizing the Abay River and completing the Abbay Dam as it pursues its historic and economic interests in the Red Sea, a water resources scholar said.

Speaking to the Ethiopian Press Agency (EPA), Arba Minch University’s Water Technology Institute Water Resources Research Center Director Elias Gebeyehu (PhD) said Ethiopia’s experience in developing the Abay River demonstrates the importance of national unity and a clear commitment to advancing the country’s development interests.

Elias said Egypt had long pursued policies aimed at restricting Ethiopia’s utilization of the Abay River, arguing that such efforts were intended to prevent Ethiopia from fully exploiting its water resources and advancing its economic development.

He said Ethiopia had nevertheless demonstrated its determination to utilize its natural resources for development, culminating in the construction of the Abay Dam.

According to Elias, Egypt neither has the legal basis nor the moral authority to prevent Ethiopia from utilizing its water resources for development. He said international law recognizes the principle of equitable and reasonable utilization of transboundary water resources, adding that riparian countries should pursue cooperation and joint development rather than attempts to obstruct one another’s legitimate interests.

Elias noted that previous threats that Ethiopia would not be allowed to construct dams on the Abay River had lost their relevance in light of the progress Ethiopia had made in developing and utilizing its water resources.

He said Ethiopia’s experience with the Abay River had demonstrated that determined national action, supported by scientific knowledge and public participation, could help the country advance its long-term development objectives.

The scholar further said that Egypt appeared to be shifting its attention toward the Red Sea as Ethiopia increasingly pursued initiatives linked to its economic and strategic interests in the region. He described the development as part of broader attempts to exert political and geopolitical pressure on Ethiopia whenever the country undertakes initiatives intended to advance its national interests.

Elias stressed that the unity and determination demonstrated by the Ethiopian people and government during the development of the Abay River should also guide the country’s engagement with the Red Sea. He said Ethiopia’s pursuit of access to the Red Sea should be based on clearly defined national interests, peaceful engagement, regional cooperation and respect for international law.

The director also urged Ethiopian scholars, policymakers and the public to develop evidence-based narratives capable of effectively communicating the country’s position to the international community. He stressed that Ethiopia should move beyond merely responding to narratives originating from other countries and instead develop its own scientifically grounded arguments and proactively communicate them.

According to Elias, strengthening Ethiopia’s research capacity and international communication would be essential to ensuring that the country’s interests are properly understood and considered in regional and international discussions.

He further emphasized that Ethiopia’s experience with the Abay River should serve as a lesson for its engagement in the Red Sea, demonstrating how national unity, scientific evidence and a clear development vision can help the country pursue its interests amid complex regional dynamics.

የዩኒቨርሲቲውን ጥናትና ምርምር፣ ህትመት እና ጆርናሎች፣ ፈጠራና አእምሯዊ ንብረት፣ የቴክኖሎጂ ሽግግርና የምርምር ውጤቶችን ወደ ንግድ ሥራ መቀየር፣ የገንዘብ ድጋፍ እና ትብብር፣ እንዲሁም የማህበረሰብ ተሳትፎ ጉዳዮች ማስተባበርና ጥራታቸውን መከታተል ዋና ዓላማው ያደረገው ይህ ምክር ቤት፣ በተለያዩ አጀንዳዎች ዙሪያ ነሐሴ 22 ቀን 2018 ዓ.ም ሰፊ ውይይት አካሂዷል።

የዩኒቨርሲቲው የምርምርና ትብብር ምክትል ፕሬዝደንት ዶ/ር ተክሉ ወጋየሁ በመክፈቻ ንግግራቸው ዩኒቨርሲቲው መጠነ-ሰፊ የማሻሻያ ሥራ ውስጥ ያለ መሆኑን ጠቅሰው የምክር ቤቱ አባላት የምርምር፣ የቴክኖሎጂ እና የፈጠራ ሥራ ማሻሻያ ፓኬጆችን በአግባቡ ሊረዱት እና ሊደግፉት እንደሚገባ ተናግረዋል። እንደምርምር ዩኒቨርሲቲው በተቋሙ የሚሰሩ የምርምር ሥራዎች ሀገራዊ የኢኮኖሚ ምሰሶዎች (national economic pillars) የሚደግፉ እና የተቋሙን የልህቀት ማዕከል (center of excellence ) መሠረት ያደረጉ መሆኑን የገለጹት ዶ/ር ተክሉ ቁልፍ የአፈጻጸም አመልካቾችም ይህንን የሚደግፍ መሆኑን ተናግረዋል። በመሆኑ የምርምር ልማት ምክር ቤቱ በቀረቡቱ ወቅታዊ አጀንዳዎች ላይ የምርምር፣ ቴክኖሎጂ እና የፈጠራ ማሻሻያዎችን እና የቁልፍ አፈጻጸም አመልካቾችን በሚደግፍ አግባብ በጥልቀት እንዲወያዩ ጠይቀዋል።

የምርምር ዳይሬክቶሬት ዳይሬክተር ዶ/ር ስምዖን ደርኬ በ2018 ዓ.ም ያጋጠሙ ተግዳሮቶችን በማለፍ የተመራማሪዎችን አቅም ማጎልበት፣ በምርምር፣ በፖሊሲ ሰነዶች ዝግጅት እና በምርምር ሥነ-ምግባር ዘርፍ የተሻሉ ስኬቶች መመዝገባቸውን ገልጸዋል። በቀጣይም እነዚህን ስኬቶች ለማስቀጠል፣ የሕትመት ጥራትን ለማረጋገጥ እና የምርምርና ሕትመት ሴሚናሮችን አጠናክሮ ለማስኬድ ውይይቱ ከፍተኛ አስተዋጽኦ እንዳለው ጠቁመዋል።

የዩኒቨርሲቲው የትብብር ፕሮጀክቶች አስተዳደር ዳይሬክቶሬት ዳይሬክተር ዶ/ር አሸናፊ ኃይሉ በበኩላቸው ተቋማዊ ተልዕኮን መሠረት ያደረጉ ሀገራዊና ዓለም አቀፋዊ ሁነቶችን ማዘጋጀት፣ ሀብት ማፈላለግ (Fundraising) እና ከምርምር ተቋማት ጋር ጠንካራ ትብብር መፍጠር አስፈላጊ መሆኑን ገልጸዋል። በተጨማሪም የሕትመትና የግራንት አሸናፊዎችን ለመሸለም እና ዕውቅና ለመስጠት የሚያስችሉ መስፈርቶችን የሚያዘጋጅ ኮሚቴ ተዋቅሮ ወደ ሥራ መግባቱን አብራርተዋል።

የማኅበረሰብ ጉድኝትና የኢንደስትሪ ትስስር ዳይሬክቶሬት ዳይሬክተር ዶ/ር ቶሌራ ሴዳ ዩኒቨርሲቲው ከማስተማርና ምርምር ጎን ለጎን ለማኅበረሰቡ ቀጥተኛ ጥቅም የሚሰጡ ሥራዎችን በግንባር ቀደምትነት ያከናውናል ብለዋል። በተለይም በማማከር፣ በአረንጓዴ ልማት እና በተለያዩ ፕሮጀክቶች በ2018 ዓ.ም በትምህርት፣ በጤና እና በግብርና ዘርፎች ከእቅድ በላይ የተመዘገቡ አፈጻጸሞች በ2019 ዓ.ም ተጠናክረው እንደሚቀጥሉ አረጋግጠዋል።

በውይይት መድረኩ የዩኒቨርሲቲው ከፍተኛ አመራሮች፣ የኮሌጅ ዲኖች፣ ሳይንቲፊክ ዳይሬክተሮች፣ የምርምር ማዕከላት ኃላፊዎች እና የማስተባበሪያ ጽሕፈት ቤት የሥራ ኃላፊዎች ተሳትፈዋል።

ለአስተዳደር ሠራተኞች በጾታ ትንኮሳ፣ በኤች.አይ.ቪ/ኤድስ እና በሥርዓተ-ጾታ ዙሪያ የግንዛቤ ማስጨበጫ ሥልጠና ተሰጠ

የአርባ ምንጭ ውኃ ቴክኖሎጂ እና ቴክኖሎጂ ኢንስቲትዩት የሴቶችና ሕፃናት አካቶ ትግበራ ቡድን አስተባባሪነት ከተለያዩ የሥራ ክፍሎች ለተወጣጡ የአስተዳደር ሠራተኞች ነሐሴ 22 ቀን 2018 ዓ.ም የግንዛቤ ማስጨበጫ ሥልጠና ሰጥቷል።

የተማሪዎች አገልግሎት ምክትል ዲን መምህር ሳታናው ሳንዶ ባደረጉት ንግግር ጾታዊ ትንኮሳ፣ ሥርዓተ-ጾታ እና ኤች.አይ.ቪ/ኤድስ የማይነጣጠሉ በመሆናቸው፣ ሠራተኞች ችግሩን ተረድተው ጥንቃቄ እንዲያደርጉና ሌሎችን እንዲያስተምሩ አሳስበዋል።

የሁለቱ ኢንስቲትዩቶች ሴቶች፣ ሕፃናትና አካቶ ትግበራ ቡድን መሪ አቶ አብዮት በላይነህ በበኩላቸው ሥልጠናው በእህቶችና እናቶች ላይ የሚደርሰውን ጥቃት ለመከላከል፣ የጋራ ግንዛቤ ለመፍጠር እና በአሁኑ ወቅት የሚታየውን የኤች.አይ.ቪ/ኤድስ መዘናጋት ለማስቀረት ያለመ መሆኑን ገልጸዋል።

አሰልጣኝና ተመራማሪ መምህርት ፍሬሕይወት ኃይሌ ሠራተኞች በሥራ ገበታ ላይ ከሚደርሱ ጥቃቶች ራሳቸውን እንዲጠብቁ፣ ጥቃት ሲፈጸም ለሚመለከተው አካል እንዲያሳውቁ እና የሥርዓተ-ጾታ ልዩነቶችን ተረድተው ፍትሐዊ ተጠቃሚ እንዲሆኑ አስረድተዋል።

የሥልጠናው ተሳታፊ አቶ መምህሩ ወልደኪዳን በሰጡት አስተያየት፣ ሥልጠናው ቀደም ሲል በሥርዓተ-ጾታና ጾታዊ ትንኮሳ ዙሪያ የነበራቸውን የተሳሳተ ግንዛቤ እንደቀየረውና መሰል ትምህርቶች ለሌሎችም ሠራተኞች ቢሰጡ መልካም መሆኑን ተናግረዋል።

አርባ ምንጭ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ከኦቢኤን(OBN) ሚዲያ ጋር በትብብር መሥራት የሚያስችለውን የመግባቢያ ስምምነት ተፈራረመ

አርባ ምንጭ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ከኦሮሚያ ብሮድካስቲንግ ኔትወርክ(OBN) ጋር በትብብር መሥራት የሚያስችለውን የመግባቢያ ስምምነት በዩኒቨርሲቲው ፕሬዝደንት ጽ/ቤት ተፈራርሟል፡፡

የዩኒቨርሲቲው ፕሬዝደንት ዶ/ር ኢ/ር አብደላ ከማል እንደገለጹት አርባ ምንጭ ዩኒቨርሲቲ በመማር ማስተማር፣ በምርምር፣ በማኅበረሰብ ጉድኝት እንዲሁም በቴክኖሎጂ ሽግግርና በኮሜርሻላይዜሽን ዘርፈ ብዙ ሥራዎችን እየሠራ ሲሆን የተቋሙን ሥራዎች ይበልጥ ተደራሽ ለማድረግ ከሚዲያው ጋር የመግባቢያ ስምምነት አድርጓል፡፡

የኦሮሚያ ብሮድካስቲንግ ኔትወርክ(OBN) ሥራ አስኪያጅ አቶ ፍሥሃ በላይነህ ሚዲያቸው በ20 የሀገር ውስጥና የውጭ ቋንቋዎች የሚዲያ ሽፋን እንደሚሰጥ፣ ከተለያዩ ተቋማት ጋር በትብብር እንደሚሠራና የተለያዩ ማኅበራዊ አገልግሎቶችን እየሰጠ እንደሚገኝ ጠቁመው ከአንጋፋው አርባ ምንጭ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ጋር በተደረገው ስምምነትም ተቋሙ በተለያዩ ዘርፎች የሚያከናውናቸውን ሥራዎች በሰፊው ለማስተዋወቅና ተደራሽ ለማድረግ እንደሚቻል አስረድተዋል፡፡

የዩኒቨርሲቲው አካዳሚክ ጉዳዮች ም/ፕሬዝደንት ዶ/ር ኢ/ር ቦጋለ ገ/ማርያም በተመጣጣኝ ክፍያ ደረጃውን የጠበቀ የሚዲያ ሽፋን ከሚሰጡ ተቋማት ጋር መሥራትና በተለያዩ የሚዲያ አማራጮች ሥራዎችን ማስተዋወቅ የተሻለ መሆኑን አስፈላጊ መሆኑን ተናግረዋል፡፡ ከOBN ጋር በተደረገው ስምነት መሠረትም እንደ ሌሎች አጋር ሚዲያዎች ሁሉ በቀጣይ ዩኒቨርሲቲው በየተልእኮ መስኮቹ የሚያከናውናቸውን ተግባራት ብሎም በዩኒቨርሲቲው የሚካሄዱ ሲምፖዚየሞችን፣ ወርክሾፖችንና ሌሎች ዓለም አቀፋዊ ሁነቶችን የሚያስተዋውቅ ይሆናል ብለዋል፡፡

የማኅበረሰብ ጉድኝትና የዩኒቨርሲቲ ኢንደስትሪ ትስስር ዳይሬክቶሬት ዳይሬክተር ዶ/ር ቶሌራ ሴዳ በበኩላቸው ዩኒቨርሲቲው ሥራዎቹን በተገቢው ልክ ለማኅበረሰቡ አለማስተዋወቁን አውስተው ከሚዲያዎች ጋር የሚደረጉ መሰል ስምምነቶች ትልቅ ዕድል የሚፈጥሩ መሆኑን ተናግረዋል፡፡

በዩኒቨርሲቲው የሕዝብና ዓለም አቀፍ ግንኙነት ሥራ አስፈጻሚ አቶ ዮሐንስ ታደሰ ዩኒቨርሲቲው በተለይ ከኢትዮጵያ ብሮድካስቲንግ ኮርፖሬሽን፣ ከፋና እና ከጋሞ ተሌቪዥን ጋር በቅርበት ሥራዎችን እየሠራ እንደሚገኝ ገልጸው ሰፊ ተደራሽነት ካላቸው ተጨማሪ ሚዲያዎች ጋር ስምነት ማድረግ ሥራዎችን በሰፊው ለማስተዋወቅ ይረዳል ብለዋል፡፡

በአባያ ካምፓስ የሚገኘው የስፖርት ማዘውተሪያ ስፍራ የደረጃ ማሻሻያ ሥራ ግምገማ ተካሄደ

የአርባ ምንጭ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ከጋሞ ዞንና ከአርባ ምንጭ ከተማ አስተዳደር ጋር በመተባበር በአባያ ካምፓስ የሚገኘውን የእግር ኳስ ማዘውተሪያ ስፍራ ደረጃ (standard) በማሻሻል ለኢትዮጵያ ፕሪሚየር ሊግ ጨዋታዎች ዝግጁ ለማድረግ እያከናወነ ያለው ሥራ፣ ከኢትዮጵያ ፕሪሚየር ሊግ አክሲዮን ማኅበርና ከፌዴሬሽኑ በተወጣጣ የቦርድ ልዑካን ቡድን ነሐሴ 21/2019 ዓ.ም. ግምገማ ተደርጎበታል።

የዩኒቨርሲቲው ምርምርና ትብብር ምክትል ፕሬዝደንት ዶክተር ተክሉ ወጋየሁ ተቋሙ በዝግጅት ምዕራፉ ወቅት በዋናነት ያሉትን አቅሞች በመለየት የስፖርት አካዳሚውን ለተሻለ ዓላማ ለማዋል እና ቀድሞ የነበረውን ማዘውተሪያ ቦታ በማሻሻል ክልላዊና ሀገር አቀፍ ኩነቶችን ማስተናገድ የሚያስችል ቁመና እንዲኖረው ታስቦ እየተሰራ እንደሚገኝ ገልጸዋል። ይህንን ለማከናወንም ኮሚቴ በመሰየም ወደ ሥራ መገባቱንና በውስጥ አቅም በአጭር ጊዜ ማከናወን መቻሉን አመልክተዋል። ይህም በመማር-ማስተማር፣ በምርምርና በማህበረሰብ አገልግሎት ላይ ዘርፈ-ብዙ አገልግሎት ሊሰጥ የሚችል መሆኑን የተናገሩት ምክትል ፕሬዝደንቱ፤ ማዘውተሪያውን በማዘመን ክለቦች ወደ ሌላ ቦታ በሚሄዱበት ወቅት የሚኖረውን ወጪ እንደሚያስቀር እንዲሁም ተቋሙ ወደ ራስ-ገዝነት ለሚያደርገው ሽግግር ተጨማሪ የገቢ ምንጭ እንደሚሆነው ጠቁመዋል። በተሰጠውም ምክረ-ሐሳብ ደስተኛ መሆናቸውንና በበለጠ ትጋት ጭምር ሥራውን ለማጠናቀቅ ሞራል ማግኘታቸውን ገልጸው፤ በሥራው ላይ የላቀ ትጋት ላሳዩ አካላት ልባዊ ምስጋና አቅርበዋል።

የኢትዮጵያ ፕሪሚየር ሊግ ሥራ አስኪያጅ አቶ ክፍሌ ሰይፈ ማዘውተሪያ ስፍራዎች የተሻለ ደረጃ ሲኖራቸው ዘርፈ-ብዙ ጠቀሜታ እንደሚያስገኙና ለእግር ኳስ ምቹ ሜዳ ዋነኛና መሠረታዊ መሆኑን አውስተው ስቴዲየሙን ስታንዳርዱን የጠበቀ ለማድረግ የተሰጠውን አስተያየት በመቀበል የተሰራው ሥራ፣የታየው ትጋትና የላቀ ቁርጠኝነት የሚያስደስት በመሆኑ ተጠናክሮ በመቀጠል ስታዲየሙ ተመራጭ እንዲሆን መትጋት እንደሚገባ አሳስበዋል። ለግምገማ በተሰናዳው ሰነድ ላይ የተካተቱ መረጃዎች በገምጋሚው ቡድን ከተያዙ በኋላ፣ ውሳኔ ሰጪው አካል ሜዳው ተመራጭ መሆን አለመሆኑን ሰነዱን አይቶ በቀጣይ የሚያስታውቅ መሆኑንም ጠቁመዋል።

የጋሞ ዞን ዋና አስተዳዳሪ ዶክተር ደምሴ አድማሱ የጋሞ ጨንቻ ስፖርት ክለብ በነበረው የውድድር ዘመን ባሳየው ትጋት ወደ ፕሪሚየር ሊግ መግባት መቻሉንና ለ2019 ዓ.ም. የኢትዮጵያ ፕሪሚየር ሊግ ተሳታፊ መሆኑን ተናግረዋል። የከተማው ሕዝብ ስፖርት ወዳድ በመሆኑ የፕሪሚየር ሊግ ጨዋታዎችን ወደ ሕዝቡ ለማምጣት በማሰብ ለዩኒቨርሲቲው ጥያቄ መቅረቡን ገልጸው ለጥያቄው በተሰጠ ፈጣን ምላሽም ፕሪሚየር ሊግ ሊያጫውት የሚችልደረጃን ያሟላ ማዘውተሪያ መሥራት መቻሉን ተናግረዋል። ይህም በየወረዳው ያሉ ስፖርተኞች የሚወጡበትን ዕድል የሚፈጥር መሆኑን አብራርተዋል።

የአርባ ምንጭ ከተማ ከንቲባ ዶክተር መስፍን መንዛ በበኩላቸው አርባ ምንጭ ከተማ አስተዳደር ለስፖርቱ ዘርፍ መጠናከር ከጋሞ ዞንና ከዩኒቨርሲቲው ጋር በመተባበር በትኩረት እየሠራ መሆኑን ጠቁመው በአባያ ካምፓስ ለጋራ አገልግሎት የሚውለው የስፖርት ማዘውተሪያ ስፍራ ስታንዳርዱን የጠበቀ አድርጎ በማዘጋጀት ከተማዋ የተለያዩ ጨዋታዎችን ለማስተናገድ ዝግጁና ተመራጭ የሚያደርጋት መሆኑን ተናግረዋል።

ቦታው ለጋራ አገልግሎት የሚውል በመሆኑ በመተጋገዝ ከቀን ጨዋታዎች ባሻገር የማታ ጨዋታዎች መካሄድ እንዲችሉ የሜዳ ላይ መብራቶችን በማስገባትና የጎደሉ ሥራዎችን በማጠናቀቅ የተሟላ አገልግሎት መስጠት የሚያስችል ሥራ እንደሚሰራ ጠቁመዋል። ይህም የከተማዋን የኢኮኖሚ እንቅስቃሴ ከማነቃቃት ባሻገር ለንግድ ማኅበረሰቡና ለስፖርት ቱሪዝም ዕድገት ትልቅ ዕድል የሚፈጥር መሆኑንም አብራርተዋል።

በዩኒቨርሲቲው የፕሬዝደንት ጽ/ቤት ኃላፊ ወ/ሮ ከአምላክነሽ ደሳለኝ የስቴዲየሙ ሥራ ለዚህ መብቃቱ የቁርጠኝነት ሥራ ውጤት መሆኑን ገልጸው በገምጋሚዎች የመጀመሪያና ሁለተኛ ቡድን የተሰጡ አስተያየቶችን በመቀበል ሰፊ ሥራ መከናወኑን አመልክተው በቀጣይም የሊግ ጨዋታው እንዲካሄድ ቀሪ ሥራዎችን በትብብር ለመከወን ተቋሙ ቁርጠኛ መሆኑን አረጋግጠዋል።
