Shalom Business and Technology College organized a workshop training for technical and vocational graduating students under the title: “Skills for a Successful Entrepreneurship.”
The training was delivered by Mr. Leul Endale, who is the Director of Institutional Capacity Building and Quality Assurance at the Sidama Regional State Bureau of Labor, Skills, and Enterprise Development.
During the training, technical and vocational trainees and prospective graduates were given broad awareness on the importance of technical and vocational education. They were also advised that after graduation, they should focus on creating their own jobs (entrepreneurship) rather than relying solely on employment opportunities.
At the end of the training, the college dean, Dr. Tsegaye Mathewos, explained that the training was important and timely. He stated that the trainees gained valuable understanding. Certificates of participation were then awarded to the trainer, Mr. Leul Endale, and the student trainees, marking the conclusion of the day’s workshop.
