******************************************ቢቢሾፍቱ ፣ ነሐሴ 11፣ 2018(ኢመዩ)የኢትዮጵያ መከላከያ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ከሥራ ፈጠራ ልማት ኢንስቲትዩት ጋር በመተባበር ለአንድ ሳምንት ለዩኒቨርሲቲው የአካዳሚክና ምርምር እንዲሁም የአስተዳደር ባለሙያዎችና አባላት ሲሰጥ የቆየው የተግባራዊ የሥራ ፈጠራ ስልጠና በስኬት ተጠናቋል።
ስልጠናው የተሳታፊዎችን የሥራ ፈጠራ እና የንግድ አስተሳሰብ ለማሳደግ፣ በተግባር የተደገፈ የንግድ ሥራ ዕቅድ ለማዘጋጀት አቅም ለመገንባት፣ የሀገር ውስጥ ምርታማነትን በፈጠራ ለማገዝ እና በራስ ተነሳሽነት የሥራ ዕድል የመፍጠር አቅምን ለማጠናከር ያለመ ነው።

የሥራ ፈጠራ ልማት ኢንስቲትዩት ዋና ዳይሬክተር ዶ/ር ሐሰን ሁሴን በስልጠናው ማጠናቀቂያ መርሃ ግብር ላይ እንደገለጹት፣ ስልጠናው በተለይም በሠራዊቱ አባላትና ቤተሰቦቻቸው፣ በተመራማሪዎች እና በአካዳሚክ ስታፍ ዘንድ የሚፈጠሩ የሥራ ሀሳቦችን በመለየት፣ በማበልጸግ እና ወደ ተግባራዊ የንግድ ሥራ ለመቀየር የሚያስችሉ እውቀትና ክህሎቶችን ለማስጨበጥ የሚያግዝ ነው ብለዋል።

ሰልጣኞቹ በበኩላቸው የገበያ ጥናትና ትስስርን በማጠናከር ምርቶቻቸውንና አገልግሎቶቻቸውን ለገበያ የሚያቀርቡበትን ሂደት፣ የፋይናንስ አያያዝን በማሻሻል እና ያላቸውን አነስተኛ ካፒታል በአግባቡ በመጠቀም ትርፋማ ሥራ ለመፍጠር የሚያግዙ ተግባራዊ ክህሎቶችን እንዳገኙ ገልጸዋል።

የኢትዮጵያ መከላከያ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የምርምርና ቴክኖሎጂ ሽግግር ምክትል ፕሬዝዳንት ኮሎኔል ዶ/ር አየለ ኦሳ በበኩላቸው፣ በዩኒቨርሲቲውና በሥራ ፈጠራ ልማት ኢንስቲትዩት የተካሄደው የጋራ ስልጠና በሁለቱ ተቋማት መካከል ያለውን ጠንካራ ትብብርና አጋርነት ያሳያል ብለዋል።

የም/ፕሬዝዳንቱ እንደገለጹት፣ በሥራ ፈጠራ፣ በምርምርና በቴክኖሎጂ ሽግግር ዘርፎች የሚካሄዱ ተመሳሳይ የአቅም ግንባታ ሥራዎች በቀጣይም ተጠናክረው መቀጠል ይገባቸዋል። ይህም የዩኒቨርሲቲውን ዕውቀትና ምርምር ከተግባራዊ ውጤትና ከሀገራዊ ልማት ጋር ለማገናኘት የሚያግዝ መሆኑን ጠቁመዋል።

በስልጠናው የተሳተፉ ሰልጣኞችም በሁለት ቡድን ተከፍለው በንድፈ ሀሳብና በተግባር የተመሠረተ ስልጠና ማግኘታቸውን ገልጸዋል። ስልጠናው በየሚሠሩበት የሥራ ዘርፍ ውጤት ተኮር ሥራዎችን ለማስፋፋት፣ አዳዲስ የሥራ ሀሳቦችን ለማመንጨት እና በፈጠራ የሀገር ውስጥ ምርታማነትን ለማገዝ የሚያስችል አቅም እንደፈጠረላቸው አስታውቀዋል።

በተለይም ተማሪዎች፣ መምህራን፣ ተመራማሪዎችና የተቋሙ ሠራተኞች የፈጠራ ሀሳቦችን ወደ ተግባራዊ ምርትና አገልግሎት በመቀየር ለተቋሙና ለሀገራዊ ምርታማነት የሚያበረክቱትን ሚና ለማጠናከር ስልጠናው ጠቃሚ መድረክ መሆኑ ተገልጿል።

የስልጠናው የኢትዮጵያ መከላከያ ዩኒቨርሲቲ በሥራ ፈጠራ፣ በምርምርና በቴክኖሎጂ ሽግግር ዘርፎች ያለውን አቅም በማጠናከር ዕውቀትን ወደ ተጨባጭ ውጤት ለመቀየር ያለውን ቁርጠኝነት የሚያሳይ መሆኑም በማጠቃለያ መርሃ-ግብሩ ተመላክቷል።

EDU and BETin Sign MoU to Advance Biotechnology, Food Engineering and Defence Innovation

Bishoftu, August 17, 2026(EDU) Ethiopian Defence University (EDU) and the Bio and Emerging Technology Institute (BETin) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration in biotechnology, food engineering, scientific research, emerging technologies, innovation and capacity development.

Representing EDU, Colonel Edosa Tufa, Director General of the College of Engineering, highlighted the strategic importance of the partnership, particularly in supporting the University's planned academic programs, including Biotechnology, Food Engineering, Textile Engineering and Garment, in the 2019 E.C. academic year.

The MoU will create opportunities for joint research, laboratory-based training, expert knowledge exchange, student and staff capacity development, technology transfer and innovation, strengthening the connection between academic education and applied scientific research.

The partnership also carries strategic significance for defence and national resilience. Biotechnology and Food Engineering can contribute to areas such as food safety and security, preservation and processing technologies, nutrition, sustainable production, military food systems, environmental resilience and the development of advanced bio-based technologies.

By bringing together EDU's defence oriented education and engineering capacity with BETin's expertise in biotechnology and emerging technologies, the collaboration provides a platform for interdisciplinary research and human-capital development addressing both national development and defence-related technological challenges.

Dr. Hailu Dadi, Director General of BETin, emphasized the importance of institutional cooperation in advancing biotechnology and emerging technologies and translating scientific knowledge into practical applications.

The MoU therefore marks more than an institutional partnership; it represents a strategic step toward building an education–research–innovation ecosystem that can strengthen Ethiopia's scientific capacity, develop highly skilled professionals and contribute to technological solutions in support of food security, national development and defence resilience.

The EDU–BETin partnership brings biotechnology, food engineering and defence closer together—turning scientific knowledge into innovation and innovation into strategic national capability.

This is an announcement about the upcoming NGAT examination:
The exam will be held on August 26 and 27 (ነሐሴ 20 እና 21/2018 ዓ.ም.).

All registered and eligible candidates should regularly check their email to receive their username and password, which will be generated by the system administrators.

All examination centers (government universities) must prepare in advance, as usual, according to the required infrastructure, including computer laboratories, internet access, electric power, IT support, and an adequate number of invigilators based on the number of examinees, among other requirements.

Everyone should be aware that no list of examinees has been officially announced or posted by EAES on any social media platform yet.

NB: We will get back to you shortly with more detailed information. This is simply a reminder regarding the current status.
