የወሎ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የእንግሊዘኛ ቋንቋ ማሻሻያ ማዕከል (English Language Improvement Center-ELIC) ለሴት ተማሪዎች የአካዳሚክ ጽሑፍ ዝግጅት ክህሎት ማጎልበቻ ሥልጠና ሰጥቷል።

ሥልጠናው የELIC ቢሮ ከዩኒቨርሲቲው የሴቶችና ማህበራዊ ጉዳዮች አካቶ ትግበራ ሥራ አስፈጻሚ ቢሮ ጋር በመተባበር የተዘጋጀ ሲሆን፣ ዋና ዓላማውም የሴት ተማሪዎችን የአካዳሚክ ጽሑፍ ክህሎት ማሳደግ እና አቅማቸውን ማጎልበት ነው።

በመክፈቻ መርሃ ግብሩ ላይ ንግግር ያደረጉት የሴቶችና ማህበራዊ ጉዳዮች አካቶ ትግበራ ሥራ አስፈጻሚ ተወካይ ወ/ሮ ሃኒኤል ሙላው ሲሆኑ፣ በአካዳሚክ ዘርፍ የላቀ ውጤት ለማስመዝገብ የጽሑፍ ክህሎት ያለውን ከፍተኛ ጠቀሜታ አብራርተዋል።

ሥልጠናው በወ/ሪት እቴነሽ ንጋቱ፣ በዶ/ር ዳንኤል ክበበው እና በወ/ሮ አስቴር ሙላት የተሰጠ ሲሆን፣ በአቶ አጫዋች በቀለ እና በአቶ ተገኝ መኩሪያ አስተባባሪነት ተከናውኗል።

በሥልጠናው ውጤታማ የአካዳሚክ ጽሑፍ ክህሎትን የሚያጎለብቱ በርካታ ርዕሰ ጉዳዮች ማለትም፤ የሕይወት ታሪክ (CV) አጻጻፍ፣ የቅጥር ማመልከቻ ደብዳቤ፣ የሽፋን ደብዳቤ (Cover Letter)፣ የምርምር ጽሑፍ አጻጻፍ እና የተርም ፔፐር (Term Paper) ዝግጅት በስፋት ተዳሰዋል።

በተጨማሪም የELIC የቀድሞ ተማሪዎች የሆኑ ወንድ ተማሪዎች በመርሃ ግብሩ ላይ በመገኘት በአካዳሚክ ጽሑፍ ክህሎት ዙሪያ ያላቸውን ተሞክሮና ጠቃሚ ሃሳቦች አጋርተዋል።

ተሳታፊ ተማሪዎች በሥልጠናው ወቅት በተግባራዊ ልምምድ በመታገዝ የጽሑፍ ክህሎታቸውን ማሻሻል እንደቻሉ ገልጸዋል።

በተለይም ሁሉንም አሳታፊ ባደረገውና በተግባር ላይ በተመሰረተው የሥልጠና አቀራረብ ከፍተኛ እርካታ እንዳገኙና በአካዳሚክ እድገታቸው ላይ ከፍተኛ አስተዋፅኦ እንዳለው በመግለጽ፣ መሰል ጠቃሚ አውደ ጥናቶችና ሥልጠናዎች በቀጣይነት ተጠናክረው እንዲቀጥሉ ጠይቀዋል።

በመጨረሻም የሶሻል ሳይንስና ሂውማኒቲስ ኮሌጅ ዲን ዶ/ር መሐመድ ጀማል የእንግሊዘኛ ቋንቋ ክህሎት ለተማሪዎች አካዳሚክ ስኬት ያለውን አስፈላጊ ሚና በማብራራት፣ የELIC ቢሮ የቋንቋ ክለቦችንና የክርክር መድረኮችን የበለጠ እንዲያጠናክር አሳስበዋል። እንዲሁም ኮሌጁ ለዚህ ዓይነት አቅም ግንባታ ተግባራት አስፈላጊውን ድጋፍ ማድረጉን እንደሚቀጥል ተናግረዋል።

ከነዚህ ስራዎች ውስጥ አንዱ የኢትዮጵያ የከበሩ ማዕድናት ዘርፍን በቴክኖሎጂ ለማጠናከር እና ከማውጣት ባሻገር እሴት በመጨመር ለገበያ ለማቅረብ የሚያስችል ክህሎት ማሻሻል ላይ ያተኮረ ስልጠና መስጠት ሲሆን በሀዋሳ ከተማም እየተሰጠ ያለው ይህ ተግባር ተኮር ስልጠና ነው ።

በዚህ ተግባር ተኮር ስልጠና ላይ ተገኝተው የመክፈቻ ንግግር ያደረጉት የሀዋሳ ፖሊ ቴክኒክ ኮሌጅ ዲን አቶ መልካሙ ባራሳ ፣ ኮሌጁ እንዲህ ያሉ ተግባር ተኮር ስልጠናዎችን በማስተናገዱ ደስታቸውን ገልጸው ፤ ወደ ፊትም ከማዕድን ኢንዱስትሪ ልማት ኢንስቲትዩት እና ከወሎ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ጋር ዘርፉን ለማሳደግ በትብብር እንደሚሰሩ ገልጸዋል።

የኦሮሚያ ክልል ማዕድን ባለስልጣን ምክትል ኃላፊ ዶ/ር ጉታ ለገሰ በበኩላቸው የዘርፉን ውስብስብ ችግሮች በጥልቀት ገልፀው ፤ ይህ አይነት ተግባር ተኮር ስልጠና ችግሮችን ለመቅረፍ ወሳኝ እንደሆነ አመላክተዋል ። ሰልጣኞችም በትጋትና በዲስፕሊን ስልጠናውን በመከታተል ያገኙትን ተግባራዊ እውቀት ለሌሎች ማጋራት እንዳለባቸው ዶ/ር ጉታ ለገሰ ያሳሰቡ ሲሆን ፤ በተጨማሪም ወሎ ዩኒቨርሲቲን እና የማዕድን ኢንዱስትሪ ልማት ኢንስቲትዮትን አመስግነዋል ።

ይህ ተግባር ተኮር ስልጠና ከግንቦት 14 እስከ ግንቦት 21 በሃዋሳ ፖሊቴክኒክ ኮሌጅ ስልጠና ማዕከል የሚቀጥል ይሆናል።

Imagine1day International and Wollo University Forge Strategic Partnership to Advance Secondary Education in Ethiopia.

In a significant move to strengthen the future of secondary education in Ethiopia, Imagine1day International (I1D) and Wollo University (WU) officially signed a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on May 21, 2026, at the university’s main campus in Dessie.

The partnership, established under the flagship Leaders in Teaching (LiTE) Ethiopia Program, marks a major step toward improving teaching quality, school leadership, and inclusive learning opportunities across the eastern Amhara region.

At the heart of the collaboration is a shared vision to transform secondary education through competency-based learning, digital innovation, and gender-responsive educational practices that prepare students and educators for the demands of a rapidly changing world.

Under the agreement, Wollo University will serve as a key academic and implementation partner, leading teacher education, continuous professional development (CPD), instructional leadership training, mentorship programs, and applied educational research.

The university is also expected to play a central role in embedding the program’s methodologies into its long-term academic structure, ensuring sustainability beyond the project period.

The partnership is built around four major pillars: preparing new career and technical education ( CTE) teachers through a nine-month school-based training model; delivering blended CPD programs supported by Communities of Practice (CoPs) and school follow-up visits; strengthening instructional leadership through specialized training, including a dedicated Female Leadership Pipeline initiative; and establishing recognition and motivation systems for teachers and school leaders.

Imagine1day International will provide technical guidance, digital learning infrastructure, Master Trainers, and financial coordination, while Wollo University will oversee training implementation, mentorship, research activities, and safeguarding measures.

The agreement was formally signed by Professor Tadesse Melesse, Amhara Regional Program Manager for Imagine1day International, and Dr. Birhan Asmame, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Wollo University, representing the university president. Both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to aligning the initiative with Ethiopia’s Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) and the Alternative Teacher Training Framework (ATTF), helping ensure that the LiTE program contributes meaningfully to national education reform priorities.

Beyond teacher training, the collaboration introduces strong joint coordination mechanisms, quality assurance systems, and shared accountability frameworks designed to sustain long-term impact. Special attention will also be given to safeguarding digital learning ecosystems and increasing female representation in educational leadership, addressing critical gaps that have historically limited opportunities for women in the sector.

Through a network of master trainers, lead trainers, mentors, and school-based professional communities, the initiative is expected to provide continuous support to thousands of educators, ultimately improving teaching practices and student learning outcomes across the region.

Together, Imagine1day International and Wollo University envision building a resilient, inclusive, and future-ready education system, one that empowers teachers, inspires school leaders, and creates lasting opportunities for the next generation of Ethiopian learners.

የወሎ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የ“አንድ ጤና” የምርምርና ስልጠና ተቋም ከአማራ የህብረተሰብ ጤና ኢንስቲትዩት ጋር በመተባበር ከደሴ፣ ከኮምቦልቻ እና ከከሚሴ ከተሞች ለተውጣጡ የሰው፣ የእንስሳት እና የአካባቢ ጤና ባለሙያዎች በአባሰንጋ (Anthrax) በሽታ ዙሪያ የግንዛቤ ማስጨበጫ ስልጠና በኮምቦልቻ ግቢ ሰጥቷል።

በመድረኩ ላይ የመክፈቻ ንግግር ያደረጉት የወሎ ዩኒቨርሲቲ “አንድ ጤና” የምርምርና ስልጠና ተቋም ዳይሬክተር ዶ/ር ሰላማዊት ፋንታሁን፣ “አንድ ጤና” አሰራር የሰው፣ የእንስሳትና የአካባቢ ጤናን በተቀናጀ መልኩ በማየት የበሽታ ስርጭትን ለመቀነስና የህብረተሰቡን ጤና ለማስጠበቅ ከፍተኛ ሚና እንዳለው ገልጸዋል።

ተቋሙ በዩኒቨርሲቲው ከተመሰረተ ጀምሮ ከእንስሳት ወደ ሰው እና ከሰው ወደ እንስሳት የሚተላለፉ በሽታዎችን ለመከላከል የግንዛቤ ማስጨበጫ፣ የአቅም ግንባታ ስልጠናዎችና የምርምር ስራዎችን የሀገራዊ ስትራቴጂካዊ እቅዶችን መሰረት በማድረግ እያከናወነ መሆኑንም ገልጸዋል።

እንደ ሀገር በተለይም በአማራ ክልል በማህበረሰቡ ላይ ከፍተኛ የጤና እና የኢኮኖሚ ችግር እያስከተሉ ያሉ እና በ“አንድ ጤና” አሰራር ቅድሚያ ትኩረት ተሰጥቷቸው ከተለዩ የጤና ጉዳዮች መካከል አባሰንጋ በሽታ በሁለተኛ ደረጃ የተቀመጠ መሆኑን የገለጹት ዶ/ር ሰላማዊት፣ በሽታው ከእንስሳት ወደ ሰው የሚተላለፍ አደገኛ ገዳይ በሽታ በመሆኑ በሁሉም ዘርፎች የተቀናጀ ቅድመ መከላከልና በሽታው ሲከሰት ለሚመለከተው አካል በፍጥነት ማሳወቅ እንዲሁም የሞቱ እንስሳቶችን በአግባቡ ማስወገድ እንደሚያስፈልግ አስገንዝበዋል።

ስልጠናው በአባሰንጋ በሽታ ስርጭት፣ መከላከልና ቁጥጥር ዙሪያ ያለውን የባለሙያዎች ግንዛቤ ለማሳደግ እንዲሁም በሰው፣ በእንስሳትና በአካባቢ ጤና ተቋማት መካከል የተቀናጀ “አንድ ጤና” አሰራርን ለማጠናከር ያለመ መሆኑንም ገልጸዋል።

ስልጠናው በእንስሳት ህክምና ት/ቤት መምህር በሆኑት በዶ/ር ሃብታሙ ያለው፣ በህክምናና ጤና ሳይንስ ኮሌጅ መምህር በሆኑት በመምህር ዳንኤል ገብረ ጻድቅና በመምህር ይትባረክ ዋሲሁን እንዲሁም የአካባቢ ጤና መምህር በሆኑት በዶ/ር መላኩ ጌታቸው ተሰጥቷል።

በስልጠናው ወቅት ስለ አባሰንጋ በሽታ መንስኤ፣ የስርጭት መንገዶች፣ ምልክቶች፣ የመከላከል ዘዴዎች እና በሽታው በሚከሰትበት ጊዜ ሊወሰዱ የሚገቡ ፈጣን እርምጃዎች ዙሪያ ገለጻ አድርገዋል።

አባሰንጋ በ“Bacillus anthracis” በተሰኘ ባክቴሪያ የሚከሰት ሲሆን፣ ከእንስሳት ወደ ሰው በቀጥታ ንክኪ፣ በተበከለ ምግብ፣ በመተንፈሻ አካላት እና በነፍሳት ንክሻ ሊተላለፍ የሚችል አደገኛ በሽታ መሆኑ ተገልጿል። በመሆኑም እንስሳትን በማስከተብ፣ የሞቱ እንስሳትን ባለመንካትና ስጋቸውን ባለመመገብ፣ በአግባቡ በመቅበር፣ የአካባቢና የእጅ ንጽህናን በመጠበቅ እንዲሁም ችግሩ ሲከሰት በፍጥነት ለባለሙያዎች በማሳወቅ ህብረተሰቡ ራሱን ከበሽታው እንዲከላከል መልዕክት ተላልፏል።

በመድረኩ ላይ የአማራ የህብረተሰብ ጤና ኢንስቲትዩት የደሴ ቅርንጫፍ ኃላፊ አቶ አንተነህ ደመላሽ ከእንስሳት ወደ ሰው እና ከሰው ወደ እንስሳት የሚተላለፉ በሽታዎችን የመከላከል ሂደት በአንድ ተቋም ብቻ የሚወሰን ሳይሆን በሶስቱም ዘርፎች የተቀናጀ እቅድና ተግባራዊ ስራ ማከናወን እንደሚጠበቅ ገልጸዋል።

የስልጠናው ተሳታፊዎች በቀጣይ በየተቋማቸውና በማህበረሰቡ ዘንድ ያገኙትን ዕውቀት በማስፋፋት በሽታውን ለመከላከልና ለመቆጣጠር የበኩላቸውን ኃላፊነት እንዲወጡም ጠይቀዋል።

Wollo University's Health Next Seminar Series on Policy Brief for Research Impact

The 8th Health Next Seminar Series was successfully hosted on May 15, 2026 at College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Wollo University. The seminar was conducted through both face-to-face and online platforms to maximize participation and knowledge sharing. The seminar featured a presentation entitled “From Research to Impact: How to Craft an Effective Policy Brief” delivered by Dr. Mitiku Bonsa. Dr. Mitiku is a public health researcher and educator at College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Madda Walabu University.

The presentation was highly engaging and practical, demonstrating how researchers can effectively translate scientific evidence into concise and impactful policy briefs that support evidence-based decision-making and influence public policy. The session emphasized the importance of strengthening collaboration between researchers and policy makers to ensure that research findings contribute to meaningful health and development outcomes.

The discussion among participants was highly insightful and interactive, allowing attendees to share experiences, perspectives, and practical challenges related to translating research evidence into policy and practice. Participants also reflected on the critical role of researchers in generating strong evidence and communicating research findings clearly to policy makers, stakeholders, and the wider community. The seminar provided an inspiring platform for knowledge exchange, evidence-informed dialogue, and future collaboration aimed at improving public health systems and policies.

We are honored to share the success of the 8th Annual National Conference on “Advancements in Science, Technology, and Innovation for Sustainable Development (ASTISD-2026)”, held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the Graduation Hall of Kombolcha Institute of Technology (KIoT), Wollo University.

The landmark conference officially commenced with an inspiring and warm welcome address delivered by Dr. Melaku Tamene, Scientific Director of the Kombolcha Institute of Technology (KIoT), who set an excellent academic tone for the day by focusing on the core pillars of teaching, research, institutional collaboration, and innovation hubs. This was followed by a thought-provoking opening speech from Dr. Tarekegn Tentagu, delegate of the president, who underscored the vital importance of progressive university-industry linkage, proactive grant hunting, and the translation of applied science into scalable societal impacts.

The intellectual depth of the morning session was further enriched by two outstanding keynote addresses delivered by distinguished national experts. Geremew Sahilu, a professor from Addis Ababa University, addressed critical policy linkages to SDG water targets, infrastructure gaps, and pioneering solutions such as digital twins and the integration of green and grey infrastructure. Following this, Hussen Asefa, a Researcher and Senior Advisor at the Ethiopian AI Institute, focused on digital safety, data ethics, biometric protection, and the importance of safeguarding Ethiopia’s national digital sovereignty.

The conference featured a series of scholarly technical paper presentations across diverse disciplines, including smart textiles, frontier nanotechnology, water resources and environmental impact, food security, and nutrition, as well as control and communication engineering. Each paper reflected a high level of intellectual engagement and technical proficiency.

The conference was further enlivened by a vibrant award ceremony held to celebrate the Hackathon Competition organized in collaboration with Qelem MedaTechnologies. The hackathon brought together bright young minds to develop local digital solutions and innovative systems, while recognizing the winning teams for their technical ingenuity and entrepreneurial spirit in the presence of the conference’s esteemed guests and partners.

The day reached its official conclusion with a comprehensive summary report, the distribution of certificates, and heartfelt closing remarks delivered by Dr. Seid Muhe, Director of the Research and Publication Directorate at Wollo University. He expressed collective pride of Kombolcha Institute of Technology and reminded participants that science without application is incomplete. Wollo University Conducts Externship Experience Sharing Workshop Program

Wollo University’s College of Medicine and Health Sciences successfully conducted an Externship Experience Sharing Workshop Program aimed at strengthening University–industry collaboration and enhancing practical learning opportunities for academic staff members.

The workshop brought together academic staff and externs who participated in professional externship and practical engagement programs at Borumeda General Hospital, Kombolcha General Hospital, MOHA Soft Drinks Industry, and South Wollo Zone Health Department for one month. The program created an important platform for externs to acquire advanced clinical skills, share best experiences, and lessons learned from their externship placements.

The workshop was officially opened by Dr. Melese Shenkut, Academic vice Dean, who highlighted the critical role of externship programs in bridging classroom learning with real-world professional practice. He emphasized that such initiatives contribute significantly to improving academic quality, and strengthening practical competencies.

During the workshop, participants shared valuable experiences gained from their placements, including clinical skill development, institutional management systems, digital health applications, leadership experiences, and workplace collaboration practices.

The presentations demonstrated how externship opportunities can enrich teaching, research, and community service through experiential learning and professional exposure.

Dr. Niguss Cherie, University Industry linkage and Technology Transfer coordinator at Tertiary Care Campus, facilitated the program and emphasized the importance of strengthening partnerships among Universities and industries to promote knowledge exchange, innovation-driven education, and practical exposure for academic staff and students.

The closing remarks were delivered by Dr. Agumas Shibabaw, Research and Community service Corporate Director, who appreciated the successful implementation of the externship initiative and acknowledged the valuable support and collaboration of the participating industries and institutions. He encouraged continued partnership and engagement among academic institutions, industries, and health sectors to sustain experiential learning opportunities, strengthen professional capacity, and advance community-oriented education and research.

የቦሩ ሜዳን ማኅበረሰብ የዘመናት የድልድይ ጥያቄ ለመፍታት የፊርማ ሥነ-ስርዓት ተካሄደ

የፊርማ ሥርዓቱን ያካሄዱት ወሎ ዩኒቨርሲቲ፣ የደሴ ከተማ አስተዳደር፣ ዌትላንድስ ኢንተርናሽናል/BRIGT Project/ እና ድልድዩን በኮንትራክተርነት የሚሠራው ደሴ እድገት ጠቅላላ ሥራ ተቋራጭ እንዲሁም የድልድዩን ዲዛይን፣ክትትልና ጥራት ቁጥጥር የሚሰራው በወሎ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የላኮመልዛ ቢዝነስና ማማከር ኢንተርፕራይዝ ናቸው።

በፊርማና በሰነድ ርክክብ ሥነ-ሥርዓቱ ላይ የተገኙት የደሴ ከተማ ተቀዳሚ ምክትል ከንቲባ አቶ ሳሙኤል ሞላልኝ፣ ወሎ ዩኒቨርሲቲና ድርጅቶቹ የአካባቢውን የረጅም ጊዜ የህብረተሰብ ችግር የነበረውን ለመቅረፍ ትልቅ ተነሳሽነት በመውሰዳቸው አመስግነው፤ ሀገር የምትለማው በጋራ ሲሠራ መሆኑን አስምረውበታል።

ከንቲባው አያይዘው፣ ሥራውን ለመሥራት ውል የወሰደው ደሴ እድገት ጠቅላላ ሥራ ተቋራጭ ሥራውን በአጭር ጊዜ በጥራት ሰርቶ እንዲያስረክብ፣ የአካባቢው አስተዳደርም ማኅበረሰቡን በማስተባበር እገዛውን እንዲያደርግ አሳስበዋል።

የወሎ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ጥናትና ምርምር ቴክኖሎጂ ሽግግር ም/ል ፕሬዚዳንት ዶ/ር ሀዋ ወሌ በበኩላቸው፣ ወሎ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ከመማር ማስተማሩ ጎን ለጎን በማኅበረሰብ ተኮር ተግባራት ላይ የሚሠራ በመሆኑ፣ የቦሩሜዳ ድልድይ ይሠራልን የሚለውን ጥያቄ ለመፍታት በመሳተፋችን ደስተኞች ነን ብለዋል።
በተጨማሪም ዶ/ር ሀዋ እንዳሉት የክትትልና ጥራት ቁጥጥር የሚሰራው በወሎ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የላኮመልዛ ቢዝነስና ማማከር ኢንተርፕራይዝ በትብብር /ማህበረሰብ አገልግሎት/ እንደሚሰጥ ገልጸዋል ።

ከዌትላንድስ አለም አቀፍ ድርጅት የተገኙት ዶ/ር ስሜነህ ሽፈራው እንዳሉት፣ ድርጅታቸው እርጥበት አዘል መሬትን በመንከባከብ ላይ ትኩረት አድርጎ የሚሠራ ቢሆንም፣ በደሴ ከተማ ቦሩሜዳ ቀበሌ ድልድይ ባለመኖሩ የሚደርሰውን ጉዳት ለመቀነስ ከከተማ አስተዳደሩና ከወሎ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ጋር በመቀናጀት የገንዘብ ድጋፍ እንደሚያደርጉ ተናግረዋል።

የወሎ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የአባይ አዋሽ ተፋሰስ ጥናትና ምርምር ተቋም ዳይሬክተር ዶ/ር ወንድዬ አድማሱ ፣ ዩኒቨርሲቲው እርጥበት አዘል መሬት በዘላቂነት እንዲጠበቅ የአፈርና ውኃ ጥበቃ ስራ ላይ በትኩረት እየሠራ መሆኑን ጠቁመዋል።
ዶ/ር ወንድዬ አክለውም በቦሩ ሜዳ የቦርከና የወንዝ መሻገሪያ ድልድይ ባለመኖሩ በየዓመቱ በክረምት ወቅት በማህበረሰቡ ላይ እየደረሰ ያለው ሰብአዊና ኢኮኖሚያዊ ጉዳት እጅግ አሳሳቢ መሆኑ በዝርዝር ገልጸው በተለይም ፦ በርካታ ሰዎች በጎርፍ ተወስደው ሕይወታቸው ማለፉን፣ ድልድይ ባለመኖሩ በክረምት ወቅት ማህበረሰቡ በተለይም እናቶች በቅርብ ቦሩ ሆስፒታል ቢኖርም ወንዙን መሻገር ባለመቻላቸው ሜዳ ላይ ለመውለድ መገደዳቸው እና ተማሪዎች ወንዙ ሲሞላ ትምህርት ቤት መሄድ ባለመቻላቸው በትምህርታቸው ላይ ትልቅ እንቅፋት እየፈጠረ በመገኘቱና ማህበረሰቡ በኃዘንም ይሁን በደስታ ከከተማ ወገኑ ጋር መገናኘት አለመቻሉን ጠቅሰዋል።

የድልድይ ሥራውን የሚሠራው ደሴ እድገት ጠቅላላ ሥራ ተቋራጭ ሥራ አስኪያጅ ኢንጀነር ከበደ መሀመድ፣ በውሉ መሠረት ድልድዩን በሁለት ወር ጊዜ ውስጥ ሠርተን እናስረክባለን ብለዋል።

ድልድዩ ከ12 ሚሊዮን ብር በላይ ወጪ የሚጠይቅ ሲሆን፣ ከ13 እስከ 18 ሜትር ርዝመት እንደሚኖረው ተገልጿል።

በመጨረሻም የፊርማና የሰነድ ርክክብ ሥነ-ሥርዓት ተከናውኗል።

በወሎ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የተቀናጀ የፋይናንስ አስተዳደር ስርዓት (IFMIS) ፕሮጀክት ርክክብ ተካሄደ

ወሎ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ላለፉት ስድስት ወራት ከፕሮጀክቱ ተቋራጭ ጋር በቅንጅት ሲያከናውን የቆየውን የተቀናጀ የፋይናንስ አስተዳደር ስርዓት /Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS)/ ፕሮጀክት በተሳካ ሁኔታ በማጠናቀቁ ፕሮጀክቱን ገንዘብ ሚኒስቴር በይፋ ተረክቧል።

በፕሮጀክቱ የርክክብ መድረክ ላይ የገንዘብ ሚኒስቴር እና የIFMIS ፕሮጀክት ቢሮ ተወካዮች፣ የዩኒቨርሲቲው የማኔጅመንት አባላት፣ የፋይናንስ፣ የግዥና የንብረት አስተዳደር ኃላፊዎች እንዲሁም ባለሙያዎች ተሳትፈዋል።

IFMIS የመንግሥት የፋይናንስ አስተዳደርን በዲጂታል ስርዓት በመደገፍ የሀብት አጠቃቀምን ውጤታማ ለማድረግ የሚያስችል ሲሆን፣ የፋይናንስ፣ የግዥ፣ የበጀት እና የንብረት አስተዳደር ሥራዎችን በአንድ የዲጂታል የመረጃ ስርዓት የሚያስተሳስር መሆኑ ተገልጿል።

የIFMIS ፕሮጀክት ጽሕፈት ቤት የለውጥ ትግበራ ቡድን መሪ አቶ ምዑዝ መዝገበ ሥላሴ እንደገለጹት፣ ወሎ ዩኒቨርሲቲ በነበረው የስድስት ወር የፕሮጀክት የሙከራ ጊዜ ከማኔጅመንት እስከ ባለሙያዎች ድረስ ባሳዩት ተነሳሽነትና የቅንጅት ስራ ፕሮጀክቱን በተሟላ ሁኔታ መተግበር መቻሉን ተናግረዋል።

አቶ ምዑዝ አክለውም፣ ዩኒቨርሲቲው በቴክኖሎጂ ራሱን በማዘመን የመንግሥት የሀብት አስተዳደር ሥራዎችን በዲጂታል ስርዓት እያከናወነ እንደሚገኝ ጠቅሰው፣ ወደፊትም ተመሳሳይ የቴክኖሎጂ ሥራዎችን ለመተግበር የሚያስችል አቅም እንዳለው እውቅና ሰጥተዋል

በቀጣይም የፋይናንስ አስተዳደር ሥራዎች በዚህ ስርዓት እንደሚከናወኑና በአፈጻጸም ሂደቱ ሊያጋጥሙ ለሚችሉ ችግሮች ሚኒስቴሩ ተከታታይ ድጋፍና ክትትል እንደሚያደርግ አስታውቀዋል።

በመድረኩ የተገኙት የዩኒቨርሲቲው የአስተዳደርና ልማት ምክትል ፕሬዚዳንት ዶ/ር ታረቀኝ ትንታጉ በበኩላቸው፣ IFMIS የፋይናንስ አስተዳደርን ቀልጣፋና ግልጽ ለማድረግ እንዲሁም ብልሹ አሠራሮችን ለመቀነስ እንደ ሀገር ትልቅ ተስፋ የተጣለበት ስርዓት መሆኑን ገልጸዋል።

ዶ/ር ታረቀኝ አያይዘውም፣ ወሎ ዩኒቨርሲቲ በፕሮጀክቱ አተገባበር ያሳየው ውጤታማ አፈጻጸም ወደፊት የተሻሉ የዲጂታል አሠራሮችን ለመዘርጋት ተስፋ ሰጪ መሆኑን ጠቅሰው፣ በሂደቱ ውስጥ ትጋትና ቁርጠኝነት ላሳዩ ባለሙያዎች ምስጋና አቅርበዋል። እንዲሁም ገንዘብ ሚኒስቴር ላደረገው ድጋፍና ክትትል ምስጋናቸውን ገልጸዋል።
