RESTRICTED LANDING IN AKOBO FOR 72 HOURS.

Following the SPLA-IO Statement on the politically motivated visit of SPLM-IG Governor Riak G*i Kok to Akobo, the SPLA-IO is officially announcing a restricted landing in Akobo Airstrip for 72 hours beginning from 12:00PM of 14/11/2025

1. Only UNMISS and all UN marked plane, ICRC and MSF are allowed to land.
2. ⁠NO landing permitted for all private company planes
3. ⁠Any violation of this announcement will lead to detention of that plane and all onboard; and the SPLA-IO will not be accountable for any damage caused.
4. ⁠There will be further communication on this when the 72 hours elapses and depending on the security situation on the ground, the time may be extended or ended.
