We asked Dr Marrisa Joseph about life before academia, what drives her in the classroom, and what she hopes every graduate carries with them long after they leave.

Before joining Henley, she was navigating the world of publishing - working in rights management and marketing after studying English Literature. Now she's helping the next generation of business leaders build the skills that truly matter. Because in a world of rapid digital change, it's not just technical knowledge that sets professionals apart - it's resilience, empathy and communication.

This week, our Nordic EMBA Global students are in Singapore, immersed in the International Business module alongside the full international cohort of the Executive MBA Global programme. 🌍

For the past few weeks, students have been consulting with three AI tech start-ups. This week they're presenting their findings directly to those businesses - sitting across the table from the very people whose companies they've been analysing. Each group then has a business site visit, a panel session, and time to explore one of the world's most dynamic commercial cities.

This is the first time our Global EMBA has visited Singapore, and it's more than just an impressive backdrop. As one of the world's key gateways between Asia and the wider global economy, the city itself becomes part of the learning - and that context is built into every day of the programme.
