The main research interests of the IMPDET studies are: digital learning environments, learning analytics, AI in education, educational data mining, VR/AR technologies in education, design research in educational technology, computing

education, computational thinking, interactive technologies, and ICT4D. IMPDET is run by the Technologies for Learning and Development research group at the School of Computing, University of Eastern Finland.
