Baltic Connections -konferenssi sekä Scandinavian Society for Economic and Social History -konferenssi järjestetään yhteisesti Jyväskylän yliopistossa 10.–12.6.2026. Konferenssi tuo yhteen kansainvälisiä tutkijoita historian ja lähitieteiden aloilta keskustelemaan Baltian, Euroopan ja maailman historiasta vertailevista ja ylirajaisista näkökulmista
Konferenssiin sisältyy kolme keynote-luentoa, jotka ovat avoimia kaikille.
Keskiviikkona 10.6. klo 17.45-19.00 professori Marcelo Bucheli Illianoisin yliopistosta pitää luennon otsikolla: "The Corporation as a Political Actor in History".
Torstaina 11.6. klo 11.00-12.15 luennoi professori Joyce Burnette Wabash Collegesta, aiheenaan "A History of (Women’s) Work".
Perjantaina 12.6. klo 9.00-10.15 luennon pitää professori Anders Ögren Uppsalan yliopistosta otsikolla "Monetary History and Why Conventional Economics Fails to Understand Money".
Luennot pidetään Historica-rakennuksen H320-salissa. Luentojen kielenä on englanti.

The seventh Baltic Connections Conference and the Scandinavian Society for Economic and Social History Conference will be held jointly at the University of Jyväskylä from 10 to 12 June 2026.
The conference includes three keynote lectures that are open to everyone.
On Wednesday, 10 June, at 17.45–19.00, Professor Marcelo Bucheli from the University of Illinois will give a lecture titled “The Corporation as a Political Actor in History.”
On Thursday, 11 June, at 11.00–12.15, Professor Joyce Burnette from Wabash College will present a lecture titled “A History of (Women’s) Work.”
On Friday, 12 June, at 9.00–10.15, Professor Anders Ögren from Uppsala University will give a lecture titled “Monetary History and Why Conventional Economics Fails to Understand Money.”
The lectures will be held in the H320 at Historica-building. The language of the lectures is English.
