English at Work - Project Cooperation

We are the students from HAAGA-HELIA cooperating with Stenden Univertsity students, contributing th They will compare the results collected in both countries.

During this autumn 2015, Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences Porvoo Campus and Stenden University of Applied Sciences-Emmen Campus will cooperate on a project. It is the first time a cooperation "ENGLISH AT WORK" takes place.
-How do Finnish and Dutch companies
use English in their daily business?-
26 international students in Porvoo and 24 international students in Emmen will work togethe

r during the autumn semester. Our project goals are to learn how English is used in business, to improve virtual & business
communication skills, enhance international communication and to improve research skills. The students will interview
companies to find out how companies use English at work.

The data from both Stenden and Haaga-Helia university were merged.
We are close to our final project results which will be proudly presented on the 27th of November at Porvoo campus.
