[FI/EN] Suuri kiitos Škodalle ja sen Mladá Boleslavin tehtaalle! Olemme saaneet tutkimus- ja opetuskäyttöön lahjoituksena täyssähköisen Škoda Enyaqin, joka täydentää auto- ja työkonetekniikan laboratoriomme panostuksia sähköisiin voimalinjoihin. Lahjoituksen sekä muun muassa sähköisten voimalinjojen hankkeen investointien myötä laboratorion kalusto on tämän aihealueen osalta Suomen huippuluokkaa.
Škodan ohella kiitos lahjoituksesta kuuluu myös lehtorillemme Jarno Arkolle (kuvassa), joka käynnisti hankintaprosessin hakemuksellaan Mladá Boleslavin tehtaalla viettämänsä työelämäjakson aikana.
"Škoda on kotimaassaan merkittävä koulutustoimija, joka ymmärtää oppilaitosten tarpeen aidoille opetusvälineille. Škodalla on pääkonttorissaan oppilaitosyhteistyöstä vastaava henkilö, joka suhtautui asiaan heti positiivisesti. Vaikka prosessi oli pitkä ja sisälsi monia vaiheita, on lopputulos meidän kannalta hieno", Arkko kertoo.

Huge thanks to Škoda and its Mladá Boleslav plant!
We have received a fully electric Škoda Enyaq as a donation for research and teaching purposes, further strengthening our automotive and work machine engineering laboratory’s investment in electric powertrains. Thanks to this donation, as well as investments made through the electric powertrains project, the laboratory’s equipment in this field is now among the best in Finland.
In addition to Škoda, our thanks for the donation also go to our lecturer Jarno Arkko (pictured), who initiated the acquisition process through an application submitted during his professional placement at the Mladá Boleslav plant.
“Škoda is a significant education provider in its home country and understands the need educational institutions have for authentic teaching equipment. At Škoda’s headquarters, there is a dedicated contact person responsible for cooperation with educational institutions, who responded positively to the idea straight away. Although the process was long and involved many stages, the end result is excellent from our perspective,” Arkko explains.
