Vacancy! ♨️ The CIHEAM Montpellier is hiring a Research Engineer in Economics,
within the framework of the GREENCOOP Horizon Europe Project and NOVISHPAK PRIMA2 ANR project.

➡️ The position will be equally shared between the projects and will focus primarily on the economic and value-chain analysis of innovations across the different Living Labs and pilot territories, with particular attention to stakeholder organisation, value creation, business models, innovation uptake and socio-economic sustainability.

✅ Requirement: Master of Science in Economics
✅ Deadline for Submission: October 2, 2026
✅ One year full-time contract

Journées d’accueil des étudiants en Master 2 du CIHEAM Montpellier 🎓 Jour 1️⃣
🤝 Après un petit-déjeuner partagé, la journée a été rythmée par plusieurs temps forts, sur le thème de la découverte du campus:
- Une présentation de l'institut par le Directeur, Thierry Dupeuble;
- La découverte du Service Accueil International Étudiants/Chercheurs (SAIEC) qui accompagne les étudiants étrangers pour faciliter leur arrivée et leur installation;
- Un pique-nique partagé avec l'ensemble du personnel dans le parc;
- Une présentation des services et ressources du campus;
- Une réunion d’accueil par le Directeur des études, Tristan Berchoux.

Le 2ème jour donnera lieu à des ateliers et une visite de Montpellier. ➡️ Stay tuned pour découvrir ces souvenirs mémorables! ✨

🌱NATAE & DIONYSUS to Co-Host Policy Conference on Agroecological Transition in the Mediterranean:
"How can science, policy, and practice work together to accelerate the agroecological transition across the Mediterranean?"
📅29–30 September 2026
📍 CIHEAM Montpellier, France

The two-day conference will bring together researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and stakeholders from across the Mediterranean and beyond to discuss:

- Multi-stakeholder approaches to agroecology
- Assessment and scaling-up of Living Lab methodologies
- From action research to public policy
- Financing and institutional mechanisms for agroecological transition
- Food security and territorial economies

With contributions from institutions including CIHEAM Montpellier, DG-AGRI, OSS, AFD, AfDB, and national ministries and universities across the region, the conference will provide an important space for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and shaping the future of agroecology in the Mediterranean.
