Activities are continuing at the Scuola Superiore di Catania as part of the “𝐵𝑖𝑜𝑚𝑖𝑚𝑒𝑡𝑖𝑐 𝐶ℎ𝑒𝑚𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑟𝑦 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐺𝑟𝑒𝑒𝑛 𝑁𝑎𝑛𝑜𝑡𝑒𝑐ℎ𝑛𝑜𝑙𝑜𝑔𝑖𝑒𝑠” Summer School, organized by the Department of Chemical Sciences and the International Relations Office of the University of Catania within the EUNICE Excellence Programme in Bioinspired Chemistry.
The initiative brings together 31 students from six European universities: 11 from the University of Catania, 2 from the University of Mons, 3 from Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (Germany), 3 from Karlstad University (Sweden), 6 from Poznań University of Technology and 6 from the University of Cantabria (Spain).
The teaching activities are led by 9 lecturers from EUNICE partner universities and the University of Catania, covering topics ranging from the principles of bioinspired chemistry and sustainability to applications in nanotechnology and advanced materials. It’s not just about lectures: group activities, scientific exchange, networking and cultural events are turning Catania into a truly European hub for sharing knowledge. 🇪🇺🔬
An experience of learning and participation that puts young people at the heart of the programme and strengthens collaboration among the universities of the EUNICE Alliance.
