CISRUL members Dr Alejandra Rodríguez-Remedi and Dr Rebecca Macklin will be holding a two-day workshop, ‘Energy Transitions: Northeast Scotland and Alberta Visualised through a Humanistic-Artistic Lens’, funded by the CHCI Membership Activity Fund.

Dr Rodríguez-Remedi has also recently worked alongside several other CHCI members to successfully obtain funding for a project titled ‘Climate Futures Between Sacrifice and Progress’. Click the link for more details:

On 3 June, join CISRUL staff Professors Nadia Kiwan and Trevor Stack, and CISRUL alumnus Dr Eve Hayes de Kalaf, for an online interdisciplinary session hosted by the Institute of Historical Research. In the session, they will 'explore how decolonial methods might be applied in practice and in teaching, considering both their value for historical research as well as their wider relevance in addressing contemporary global and real-world challenges.'
