From 3 to 16 August, the Business School welcomed students from China University of Mining and Technology, South China Normal University and Nanjing Agricultural University to take part in our 2026 Summer School.

Over the two weeks, students participated in a wide range of academic sessions, cultural activities and visits to local organisations, including Aberdeen Football Club, the National Decommissioning Centre and Forest Farm.

Ten colleagues from across three departments contributed to the programme, delivering cutting-edge sessions covering business and management, finance and economics. The sessions were very well received, with students providing highly positive feedback on both the academic content and their overall Summer School experience.

The programme provided an excellent opportunity for students to broaden their academic perspectives, experience life in Aberdeen and engage with colleagues and organisations beyond the classroom.
