🎬 Myfyrwyr Aberystwyth ar y ffordd i Ŵyl Ffilmiau Tribeca 🎬 Aberystwyth students head to Tribeca Film Festival
Mae tri myfyriwr dawnus o’r adran Theatr, Ffilm a Theledu yn cael y cyfle gwych i fynd i ŵyl enwog Tribeca yn Efrog Newydd, lle y byddant hefyd yn cael y cyfle i gwrdd â ffigurau amlwg yn y diwydiannau ffilm, podlediadau a gemau, gan gynnwys yr actor enwog Whoopi Goldberg. Mae’r cyfle unwaith-mewn-oes hwn yn bosib drwy GronfaAber a thrwy haelioni cyn-fyfyrwyr Prifysgol Aberystwyth. Mae hefyd wedi cael cymorth ychwanegol gan y cyn-fyfyriwr a chymrawd, Ben Thompson, a fydd yn darparu tocynnau i’r myfyrwyr am yr wythfed tro eleni. Diolch i Cathy Piquemal am sefydlu’r rhaglen yn 2016, ac i Ben am ei ymroddiad parhaus, a hefyd i’n cyn-fyfyrwyr sy’n rhoi’n hael!
Three talented Theatre, Film and Television students have been given an incredible opportunity to attend the prestigious Tribeca Festival in New York, where they will also have the chance to meet leading figures in the film, podcast and gaming industry, including acclaimed actor Whoopi Goldberg. This once-in-a-lifetime experience has been made possible by the AberFund and the generosity of Aberystwyth University alumni, this opportunity is further supported by alumnus and fellow Ben Thompson, who will be providing festival tickets to the students for the 8th time this year. Thanks to Cathy Piquemal for founding the programme in 2016, to Ben for his ongoing dedication, and to our alumni donors!
