This Thursday 1st December 2022 is our certificate and catch-up event for Year 13 class of 2022. We are open from 4pm to 6pm and you can come into school to see old friends, pick up exam certificates and have a bite to eat.

On Wednesday 16th November 2022, we took our sixth form students to the British Council in London to participate in the EarthshotCop27 Simulation conference. It was a great experience for our students who gained a better understanding of the complicated nature of negotiating and working to common goals. The goal was to get the richest nations to commit to reducing carbon emissions to lower global temperatures. For more details of the day, check out the news clip from BBC London

Move over JK Rowling... Joshua C is in town!

One of our very own Year 13 students Joshua C has successfully had his book published by publishing firm Olympia.
The story itself has been in the making since 2016 when Joshua made a series of short stories intended to keep the memory of a role playing game alive.
Joshua decided to merge the short stories into a novel and this started in 2019 with completion in 2021 and subsequently picked up by Olympia.
Joshua is currently working on a sequel to this book so stay tuned...

A teenager who has always aspired to go into medicine is one step closer to her dream after achieving A-Level success.

Neha Ali, who studies at Accrington Academy, has secured a place to study at the University of Leeds after achieving an A*, A and B in Maths, Biology and Chemistry.

Congratulations to our Sixth Form students who have collected their A-Level and BTEC results this morning!!

Neha A has attained the grades needed to attend University of Leeds to study medicine.

Mariyah K, Urooj M and Tooba S will all be continuing an education in Psychology at University of Westminster and Manchester Metropolitan University.

Keaton-Lee C will be attending BIMM Manchester to study Music.

What a lovely way to finish the term. A massive thank you to Mr Ashton for arranging the activities for today's Wellbeing Day. Our students were dressed to represent their culture and we started the day with rewarding our students who show our T.E.A.M values before moving onto our activities. Thank you as well to all the staff who assisted in the delivery of all the activities!
