Today, our students enjoyed a Christmas Fun Day, ran by our Student Council, featuring a visit from Georgie the Donkey, a cake sale and raffle!

Thanks to everyone's support, they have raised over £140 for a local homeless charity, helping to spread kindness this festive season.

We, along with the other academies across Stamford Park Trust are proud to have played a part in this year’s Christmas Gift Appeal. Thanks to the generosity of our students, staff, families, and local businesses, we collected over 550 gifts that have brought smiles to 102 children from 58 families across our local communities.

From toys and books to warm clothing, every donation made a real difference. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed, as well as Astley Sports Village, who coordinated the appeal and led ‘Operation Wrap’—a true community effort that made this possible.

It’s been amazing to see our Trust and communities come together to spread a little magic this Christmas!

Jonathan Reynolds MP, Labour MP for Stalybridge and Hyde, visited Ashton Sixth Form College today for an inspiring talk and Q&A with our Politics students.
He shared his journey into politics, answered insightful student questions, and encouraged young people to get involved in politics.
It was especially great to see former Politics student, Hamza, return to college as part of his new role in the Labour Party as a Constituency Support Office for Jonathan.
