🌟 An Incredible Achievement for Year 11 Student Tiana! 🌟

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Year 11 student Tiana, who has been awarded the prestigious Angel Award from the The Karis May Darling Foundation

The award recognises young people who have shown exceptional resilience & determination, & Tiana is a truly deserving recipient. Despite facing significant challenges over the past 18 months, she remained focused on her education, successfully completing her GCSEs this summer alongside her Entry Level & Functional Skills qualifications.

Chosen from tens of thousands of nominations, this is an outstanding achievement & a testament to Tiana's strength, perseverance & positive attitude.

Congratulations, Tiana! We are all incredibly proud of you and wish you every success for the future. 💙👏

Our Year 10 students enjoyed an afternoon of music, dancing & fun at their End of Year Reward Summer Party. 🎉

The students invited to the party had achieved the highest attendance & credits across the year group, recognising their hard work, commitment & positive achievements throughout the year.

It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying themselves & making lasting memories with their friends before the summer break.

Well done, Year 10 – we hope you all had an amazing afternoon! 🌟

🙌 Today, the Upper Academy is hosting its very first Team Building Day!

Students are spending the day on the field with The Problem Solving Company, taking part in a wide range of exciting team-building challenges.

Working in groups, students are tackling over 30 different tasks designed to develop valuable transferable skills including communication, problem-solving and teamwork.

With every challenge earning points, teams are working hard to see who will be crowned the Team Building Day champions! 🏆

📢 Parent Drop In – Tuesday 14th July

Our next Parent Drop In will take place tomorrow, from 1.30pm to 2.30pm.

There will be no need to book an appointment, just sign in at reception and staff will be happy to show you to the venue.
There is no set topic for the drop in sessions, if we are not able to answer any specific questions, we will follow up and then feedback to you.
