We're gearing up for one of the most eagerly awaited events in the academic calendar: the annual Undergraduate Degree Show 🎉

📍Locksbrook Campus, 6 June until 13 June, from 10 am – 6 pm.

Giving graduating students from our Art and Design courses the chance to present their final projects to the public, the event will mark a significant milestone in their creative careers 💙

Each year, students take an active role in the show’s marketing, shaping its visual identity by designing the official poster. This year’s poster has been created by third-year Graphic Design students, Cara Matraves and Adele Traverse.

Professor Sunny Singh will be in conversation with Professor Lucy English about her writing, The Jhalak Foundation and her activism. Sunny Singh is a writer, novelist, public intellectual, and a champion for decolonisation across all aspects of society.

Huge congratulations to BSU Honorary Doctorate recipient Tyrone Mings, who helped Aston Villa FC to victory in the UEFA Europa League final last night! 🎉

Tyrone was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by us in 2021 for his contributions to the local community in Bath, and continues to act as a pioneering figure at the top of the world's game.

The Porthleven Prize – now in its 13th year – has become a BSU institution, and for 2026 it has had a refresh, with the addition of a new partner and a renewed focus on both the local Bath area as well as the Cornish coast 🌊

Students’ work will be exhibited later this year in Porthleven in August, before heading to Bath in October.
