Safely view the Sun with our solar filtered telescope! We'll be able to see sunspots which are regions of high magnetic activity. The sun is currently at the peak of an 11-year cycle which means that there are more sunspots and more aurora than normal.
Meet us by the Lake anytime between 12:15 and 14:05 tomorrow to see this incredible natural phenomena for yourself!

☄️ Join us for our 2nd stargazing social this month!
This time, Comet Lemmon will be the highlight of the night. With an orbital period of ~1300 years, it made its closest approach to Earth earlier this week, and will be visible with small telescopes or binoculars 🔭

☁️ The forecast is partly cloudy, so we’ll aim to catch the best views early in the session before conditions worsen later.

We are planning a group trip to Bristol Aerospace on Saturday 15th of November with Women’s Engineering Society (WES) Bath!!

Tickets will cost £14pp with coach travel (TBC depending on level of interest)
