Our English Lecturers, Dr Oliver Belas & Dr Nicola Darwood, have been working with Eric Edwin, a former amateur bodybuilder and Bedfordshire’s first Black male police officer, to publish his life story through a series of chapbooks 📕📗

Eric hopes by sharing his memoir he will be able to raise money for cancer research & care after receiving a diagnosis of incurable multiple myeloma himself.

The book titled ‘Getting My House in Order’ is being launched on our Bedford Campus today from 5pm in the Gateway building so if you’re around on campus come along and help us celebrate - everyone is welcome! 👏🎉
