On Wednesday 27th May, we planted a beautiful apple tree in memory of our former student, Conall McGuinness. It was a lovely sunny day made special by Conall’s family and friends being in attendance alongside School staff to officially plant the tree in the DKB Quad.

At the memorial tree, we presented this year’s McGuinness Award to our wonderful Level 1 student, Ella Connolly. Ella won the award for being “…a great role model and above all, an amazing friend. She is an open, honest, and compassionate person who you can confide in and lean on whenever needed. Ella is such a kind person who goes out of her way to make everyone feel included.”

Well done Ella on your award, we are all so proud of you in the School!

New genetic links uncovered in study of almost 700,000 people living with anxiety 🔗

"Anxiety is one of the most common mental health conditions in our society and this study is an important step forward. It underlines that biological risk works hand in hand with people's experiences and environments. Understanding both is how we'll improve prevention and support" explains Prof Cherie Armour.
