Welcome Days: Frequently Asked Questions 🤔👋

Read the below information about USP College's Welcome Days. If you'd like to come, today's your deadline to get an invitation, so apply on our website now! 📲

What is a Welcome Day?
👀 Welcome Days are your first taste of college life, where you'll meet your course mates and tutors, sample the course(s) you've applied to and get familiar with the campus. There are a range of fun activities for you to take part in and we'll have an ice cream van on site.

When is Welcome Day?
🗓️ Our Welcome Days are invite-only events, and you will have been invited to one date depending on your course. The day lasts from 9am - 2pm - but if you can't make it for the full day due to prior commitments, let us know and we can arrange an earlier finish.

How do I secure my place?
📫 After you've applied, check your emails for an invitation and click the RSVP button as soon as possible. Remember to check your junk and spam inboxes if you can't see your invitation. If you're feeling hesitant to come on your own, get in touch and we'll allow you to bring a friend your age.

Warm Weather Guidance: Student and Parent Notice ❗

With the current spell of hot weather, we'd like to offer some practical guidance to help everyone stay safe, comfortable and focused on their studies. ✅

Please consider the following: ⬇️
Hydrate regularly - water stations are available on campus (Seevic Hub and Restaurant, Palmer's Reception)
Dress appropriately - light, breathable clothing is encouraged while still maintaining appropriate standards for a learning environment
Take breaks sensibly - use shaded indoor areas where possible during break periods
Be heat-aware - if you feel unwell, please speak to a staff member
