Innovative PhD scholarship just announced!

Funded by ’s BISCA (Birmingham Institute for Sustainability & Climate Action), applications are now invited for an interdisciplinary PhD opportunity promoting sustainability in the creative industries.

Supervised by Prof Adam Ledger (DTA) and Dr Nana O Bonsu (Business School), this project looks at how sustainable practices and organisational development can be introduced, modelled, tested and scaled up. The project is delivered in partnership with and local and regional organisations. The ideal candidate will have a theatre or arts background, and be interested in business development.

So delighted to have come and talk with our students yesterday about his career, the arts, and answer their (many) questions so generously and thoughtfully!

It was a lovely, warm, supportive event- and a great way for our final year students to end their time with us.

This Wednesday and Thursday- Blind Bird. A free performance by PhD student You Lyu, Blind Bird is an intercultural physical theatre piece inspired by a BBC report on the extinction of the Great Auk.
