The Student Relations team created a supportive and reflective space at the London campus for University Mental Health Day.

Students were invited to share messages, thoughts and personal reflections through interactive boards, opening up conversations around connection, community and the importance of looking after mental wellbeing. From recognising how common feelings like loneliness can be, to encouraging honest and open dialogue, the day was a reminder that no one has to navigate university life alone.

Creating spaces like this helps foster a campus culture where wellbeing is prioritised, voices are heard and students feel supported every step of the way.

🍀 Looking back at the great energy from St Patrick’s Day!

Students from across the Branch Campuses took part in interactive activities exploring influential Irish figures while learning more about Ireland’s rich cultural heritage and history.

It was fantastic to see students getting involved and bringing curiosity and enthusiasm to each activity, creating moments of connection and learning across our branch campuses!

During Autism Awareness Week, students across all branch campuses took part in a range of activities and conversations focused on raising awareness of autism and strengthening understanding across our community.

Working alongside different teams, the week encouraged open discussion around inclusion and support, with opportunities for students to engage with the Learning Support Team and Mental Health Team.

Thank you to everyone who took part and contributed to these important conversations!

The Student Relations team brought thoughtful moments to life at the Manchester campus during the Random Acts of Kindness pop-up, as students shared what kindness means to them through messages, drawings and personal reflections.

From small everyday gestures to deeper acts of empathy, forgiveness and support, each note captured how meaningful kindness can be. It showed that even the simplest actions have the power to uplift others and shape a more positive environment.

Moments like these remind us that a strong campus community is built on care, understanding and looking out for one another.

💬 What does kindness look like to you?

Meet Stephanie, an international student at Ulster University London, learning to navigate a new environment while discovering what helps her feel grounded. 🎨

Adjusting to a new place, new people and new experiences can feel overwhelming at times. For Stephanie, creativity has become a way to pause, reflect and make sense of it all. Through art, whether it's sketching, painting or writing, she finds space to process her thoughts and reconnect with herself.

It is not about perfection, but about honesty and understanding what works for you. Finding small, personal outlets like this can make a big difference in how you experience your student journey.

💬 What helps you unwind and reflect during busy or overwhelming moments?
