Student Voice is at the heart of what the Students’ Union does. Each year we elect Student Leaders to promote, amplify and advocate for your views and desires during your time here at Birmingham Newman University.

On Wednesday 25th March, the voting closed and you voted for who you wanted to represent you for the 2026/2027 academic year. This year our voter turnout increased by 89.2%. A huge step forward for student voice and democratic engagement and something we are incredibly proud of.

So without further ado… Introducing your 2026/2027 Officer Trustee and Student Officers:

President: Joshua Rigsby
Vice-President: Natasha Davis
Union Chair: Maysoon Abdulsalm
Academic Affairs Officer: Laura Meszaros
Campaigns and Communication Officer: Tamika Smith
