The following roles are appointed by application rather than election, with no limit to the number of positions:

Marketing Team: Website Developers, Graphic Designers, Photographers, Content Writers, etc.
Event/Logistics Team: Games Coordinator, Sports Coordinator, Event Assistants, Catering, Content Writers, etc.

Ice Skating Social Event

We’re excited to announce that we’ll be running an ice skating session at the Centenary Square, Tuesday 9th December 2025 @ 5pm - 7pm. We will meet up at the Students’ Union at 5pm and make our way to the ice rink together. ❄️ ⛸️

Join us for a Social Badminton session which will take place this Thursday, 20th November 2025 @ 1pm - 2pm in Hall 2, Woodcock Sports Centre. Feel free to drop in and play anytime during the session.

There will be a £1 cost for Members, and £5 for Non-Members. Both Cash & Card payments are accepted.

Hackoween Coding Challenge

The Aston Computer Science Society are excited to announce our Halloween Themed Coding Challenge, where you will get the chance to show off your creativity and coding skills by building a project inspired by Halloween. Whether it’s a fun game, a creepy website, or a spooky animation, we want to see your best Halloween based creations. The deadline for our Hackoween Coding Competition is on Monday, 17th November 2025 @ 23:59PM. 👻

Competition Information:
Code a project that is based on the theme of Halloween. This could be a game, interactive website, animation, or any other creative coding project. Submissions can include any programming language or framework, as long as it fits the theme. Prizes will be awarded to the top projects, with full details to be shared in an upcoming announcement.
