Wednesday 7 October
Temple Lodge No. 4929 – Proclamation & Reflection
WBro Catalin Visan was proclaimed for a second year in the Chair, delivered in fine style by WBro Richard Stringer PProvDepDC, with WBro Roy Dixon ProvJGW presiding.
The Lodge then closed with a powerful and thought‑provoking moment: Officers each reading from The Book of a Perfect Lodge, exploring the Lodge as a microcosm of the human soul, a reminder that Masonry is as much inward as it is ceremonial.
A reflective meeting followed by a typically jovial Festive Board. 📘✨

Thursday 8 October
Alchemy Lodge No. 3950 – Installation
The PGM presided as WBro Anand Kanani was installed as Master for the first time.
Alchemy now looks ahead to an exciting year with two potential initiates and several junior brethren progressing through the ranks.
A strong, confident start to their new season. 🔨🔥

Friday 9 October
Dunsmore Lodge – Second Degree
A superb Second Degree ceremony for Bro Jamie Buxton, a third‑generation Mason continuing a proud family tradition.
A warm, supportive night for Jamie and another strong entry to kickstart the Masonic year. 👏🔨

Ever-Evolving Rituals: Which is the Closest? 📖
The Royal Arch has never stopped evolving, seeing major rule and ritual revisions in 1893, 1989, and 2004. So which modern ritual is actually closest to the original 1834 Chapter of Promulgation text? Scholars suggest Perfect Ceremonies takes the top spot, followed by Oxford, then Aldersgate, and Domatic.
Ultimately, the local variations (of course including our very own Warwickshire ritual) that survived just add more colour to our Chapter meetings today.

WBro Neil Watkin was proclaimed for a second year in the Chair at Knowle.
A warm, friendly meeting followed by a delicious Festive Board and an impressive £1,130 donated to the Tercentenary Appeal for Fisher House.
With two initiates and a re‑joining member, Goodwill is set for a strong year. 💙🔨

Tuesday 29 September
Shipston on Stour
A tavern‑style Lodge setup created a brilliant historic atmosphere as the VW Deputy PGM presided over the Installation of WBro Martin Tolley, returning to the Chair just three years after his last tenure.
A traditional, characterful evening; Masonry as it began centuries ago. 🍻📜

Thursday 1 October
Vesey St Christopher’s Lodge of Mark Masters
A vibrant night at Sutton Coldfield celebrating the installation of the new Worshipful Master.
The magic of the Mark was flowing freely with great ritual, great atmosphere, great company. 🔨✨

Friday 2 October
Vesey Chapter
A superb evening with 42 Companions witnessing the installation of E.Comp Roger Cook as Most Excellent.
Temperance Chapter delivered the travelling Loving Cup...where will it go next?
A night full of companionship, ceremony and brotherly love. 🔺🍷

We are incredibly proud to announce that Warwickshire Freemasons have recently donated £5,256 to The Myton Hospices. 🤝💙

Supporting our local community is at the heart of our Masonic values. The Myton Hospices provide vital, compassionate end-of-life care for patients and their families across Coventry and Warwickshire. This funding goes directly toward helping their dedicated nurses and staff continue their essential, life-changing work when families need it most.

Enter George Claret: The Father of Modern Ritual 🖨️
Because the 1834 Promulgation ritual was never printed, the uniformity Grand Chapter hoped for failed completely. Enter George Claret. In 1845, he published his own printed Royal Arch ritual based on what he saw happening in his local Chapters. Today, almost all of our major modern rituals are actually derived from Claret's version, not the official 1834 Promulgation text!
